Great views! Mostly dirt road, stock 4x4 is enough if you stay on the main trail.

This is an incredible road for biking! The route starting from the east (I park near the end of Calzada de la Fuente off of Alta Rd) is an ideal grade for riding. Downsides include sketchy access (no trespassing sign), off road trucks and dirt bikes, border control agents in giant black SUVs, and air pollution from nearby Tijuana. Still worth it, but this place would be a lot cooler if it wasn't affected by so much border stuff.
