Otay Ranch Eyeworks, Chula Vista CA

I have been going to Otay Ranch Eyeworks for years and I will keep coming back! The selection of frames is great, all price-ranges, and the service is so friendly and personal. Specifically, Maria patiently helped me on my last visit sort out some insurance mix ups and was so encouraging and cheerful as I tried on different frames and didn't know what I wanted. What a friendly face, and I could not recommend Maria enough when you come in!

Great service. Staff is friendly and place is very well kept. Optometrist took the time to explain everything and make suggestions to improve my vision. Would recommend.

The Doctor Diaz and staff were professional and amazing. Stephanie was so sweet and patient helping me find the perfect glasses. Wonderful practice. Definitely recommend.

This was my second visit to Otay Ranch Eyeworks. The doctor and her staff were extremely helpful, professional and polite. I left there feeling very satisfied with my exam and purchase of new glasses. I would definitely recommend this office to everyone!

The process was extremely quickly and everyone was super nice specially with answering any questions i had.

The staff and optometrist are friendly and attentive. They are ready to assist. It was a pleasant and speedy service. I was able get through this appointment during my lunch hour.

One of the lenses popped out of the lenses and frames that i bought there. They were "very busy with customers" and could I leave the frames until tomorrow or wait 30-40 minutes in order for them to put the lens back. As in live an hour or so away, but had to be somewhere soon, neither was an option. To unscrew the lens opening and reinsert the lens was a two minute repair, but they were too busy to provide that fast service.

The staff and the doctor were so kind. When I was looking for a pair of glasses, I had the hardest time finding something that I liked, but the person who helped me was so patient and understanding.

Read all the bad reviews as well! There is some truth to them but I hope my review is read by the owners or top management.

The good - Customer service is top notch and every single person at the Otay location is incredibly kind. It feels genuine. Not too mention the products are great quality and plenty of variety!

The Bad - Communication is absolutely terrible. On multiple occasions we have gone back and forth on picks ups, where to pick up the glasses (Otay or national city), change in order due to supplies etc. I understand they are also at the mercy of 3rd party vendors but as a paying customer who is charged a lot for these damn glasses I expect better. Just the truth. You guys have to do something about it, do some training or dig deeper into where you drop the ball.

But all the workers deal with me and my expectations so thank you. I am still a customer after 5 years and currently have another pair on order and from experience I expect it to be 2-3 weeks late.lol

Otay ranch eye works call me three weeks ago to my glasses. I went last Monday to pick up my glasses. They told me my glasses at national city store. I got told to pick up my glasses from there. I give my glasses to Eastlake store. I'm in east lake area. Now why I go national city to pick up my glasses. It's not my mistake. Call them today (07/16/23) they still don't have my glasses. I'm done with them.

I had an eye exam done here and felt it was a very positive experience. Friendly and courteous staff, prompt service, as well as a nice looking facility. I'll be going back!

The optometrists are best. The staff is always very helpful, kind and supportive. I never feel rushed! The prescriptions are always right on unlike most opticians prescriptions for glasses and contacts! It makes a huge difference in your like when the prescription is correct!

Had a wonderful experience at Otay Rancy Eyeworks - seen right away, had a very pleasant examination, everyone was friendly and greeted me - a very nice lady helped me pick out frames - excellent all the way around. I walked in with a smile and left with a smile. Nice Job! Can't wait to pick up my readers!

Today was my first day but the staff and eye doctor (Dr. Pham) were friendly, helpful and made the experience great. Looking forward to continuing to get my eyes checked at Otay Ranch Eyeworks.

Everyone here is always so knowledgeable and helpful when I come in. Great selection of glasses, and they take my insurance which is always a plus. Been coming here for quite some time, highly recommend it.
