Our Nest, Fullerton CA

I came here for takeout because I dined in and loved this place. I ordered over medium eggs and the yolks were solid when I cut the yolk open. The eggs are usually very runny when ordered over medium. Hash browns were not cooked well and no jam or jelly was provided for the toast. The breakfast sandwich we ordered was also extremely cold. To top this the restaurant required a 12% gratuity for takeout since they can’t pay their staff enough money to work there. So I paid $40 for an awful breakfast that got thrown away. The takeout as well as the policies suck. I’ve never heard of a restaurant requiring gratuity to take out, just pay the employees better. Gratuity is for dine in when a service is provided. Not when I have to drive to pick up my food from a business that serves food.

This place was amazing. Super good food, service and good coffee. I do not normally leave reviews but this place was so good I had to leave one and give them a 5 star rating.

First time visiting. I highly recommend this place. They are pretty busy so be patient but it’s worth it.

The food was different and everything was really, really expensive. They charge extra for using your debit card and add on a ridiculous amount of gratuity. The service is not worth the gratuity that they charged.

Cute little diner. Was a little bit of a wait for brunch hours, but definitely worth it. Friendly staff and overall very clean place. I definitely want to go again to try other things on their menu

Food was delicious. We bought a container of the salsa to use at home. Service was amazing. Can't wait to come back.

Tried some recommendations loved the breakfast tacos. Cant wait to try more items from the menu.

Really good French toast. The chilaquiles were also tasty, but chips were a bit too soggy and there wasn't enough eggs topping the dish. It was also a bit dry. The impossible burger was also decent. Fries were good.

We always try to find a local place when in the area, and this was the best stop yet. Great staff, friendly environment and incredible food. I’m envious of the locals!

Now this is what you call a great breakfast & lunch spot. Wow the service and food was outstanding! The owner is very personable, friendly and genuinely cares how your experience is going. See you on Sunday!

This is unacceptable wait 2 hrs.and plus give me an attitude is not right, if can’t handle the situation should not be in business don’t tell me that you failed.

Used to come here at least once a month and wait too long for my food and cancel my order and told me that not welcome anymore speaks great about the ownership. DEFINITELY NOT COMING HERE AGAIN.

. 50 cents for extra syrup. Are you serious? Not doing this again. How do you charge for syrup and its only a only half serving

Update: Me, my dad, and my wife had the Rudy's Special at the family-run Our Nest in Fullerton. This dish holds sentimental value to my dad because he knew Rudy personally. The ambiance at Our Nest is inviting, with decor that notably supports law enforcement, which we deeply appreciated. The owner, Rudy's grandson, carries forward the family's legacy with the same personable personality traits as his grandfather. He's a talented chef whose dishes keep us coming back for more. His wife is a beacon of hospitality, greeting everyone with a warm smile and ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly. The staff strikes the right balance of attentiveness without being overbearing, ensuring everyone is served promptly. While the food might take a bit, remember, "Good food takes time. " Our Nest is truly a family-owned gem

Go! You won't be disappointed. The way a private restaurant is supposed to be. A couple started their restaurant because they wanted someplace everyone would like. They succeeded.

Everything I have tried here just hits different. They are on that next level. Nice hidden gem in the area.

To many FEES! Seriously take the merchant fee out or just simply raise the prices! Food is amazing but seems like everything is an add on with hidden fees at the end. Did not get coffee refills nor had anyone check up on us after the first 5 minutes…. Merchant Fee, TO GO FEE, Split fee, and auto gratuity on parties of 5… 20%. I understand big parties but average families have 5 members…. 5 is an avergae party size… im sure there is more but ill rather not find out. Great food and good coffee!
