Outback Steakhouse, Palm Desert CA

Not welcoming from the start had to wait while I literally saw seats available for table of two and my steak was burnt. Never coming back here again

Service was great, military discount was also nice, steak was rubbery (Applebee's was better!? !? !? So weird) they were out of Bleu Cheese crumbles so the Bleu cheese salad was bad and the substitute salad was wilted. And they kept the charge on for the premium salad even though we returned it. Wife loved the bread. Ahi Tuna was fantastic.

Excellent meal for a special occasion. Came with a party of 9 for a work function. Food and service were top notch. Live music in the bar adds that extra bit of class. I had the crab cakes, Cesar salad, porterhouse with lobster mac & cheese, and smores mousse. Everything was delicious.

Food and service great overall. However, charged me dinner price for my meal when I ordered off lunch menu. Husband ordered 1st & made clear order was from lunch menu.

Great food as always. Never had a bad experience at that restaurant. Would recommend it to all.

I love a great steak and Harris' has never disappointed. The first time I came here I ordered the steak diane which I wasn't crazy about but I think that was more of a function of not liking that particular dish than Harris'. Ilike the feel of the restaurant and the service has always been great.

Great food excellent service from our waitress but the booths are uncomfortable not as clean as I would like. There are pads on the benches that felt sticky since I had to relocate it to sit comfortably. I am slightly husky and I had to wedge myself over the edge of the bench to get it so to me it’s like children’s booth. The light over the table was so bright and right in your eye line so you can’t see your wife across the table unless you sit up super high. Felt like interrogation desk. Now I never complain about the seating much but I will avoid booths next time because it was overwhelming to have a good dinner with as uncomfortable as I was sitting there.

I had a very enjoyable experience. Outback always takes care of it valued customers, thank you Gerard and company you guys/gals are all amazing and perform to the upmost of your ability. Kudos to Outback for your great team.

Went back 2 weeks later for my sissy bday. Snagged a table shout. Still present in the moment. Enjoyed again. Left full as a tick again. Happy Birthday Sissy!

Loved this place, came here for a birthday dinner and was satisfied with my entire experience. Wait staff is very friendly and well informed of the menu. Variety of wines to try out. Appetizers were great and the steak and lobster were damn phenomenal. Would definitely come back again.

Food Drinks and Service were GREAT. One observation the busperson should be more attentive with the tables and helping the servers clear plates.

This restaurant really stepped up their game from the last time I visited. The service was amazing and very quick. The food was delicious and hot when they served it. Overall, I was impressed by the quality of service and food at Outback. It has definitely improved from the past.

Was disappointed to find that they were out of prime rib - and no longer had the lamb chops my mother-in-law loves.

Other than that, had a good meal. Our waitress was great.

I'm in a compact power scooter and have been for 12 years now. I've visited hundreds of restaurants during this time and have never had a problem or felt disrespected or discriminated against. After I checked in and they clearly saw my situation, they sat me and my family in a booth. Then, before the waitress got our drink order, asked me to move so I could be more "comfortable". They moved me to the back corner, second to last booth near the exit. As if this wasn't bad enough, as soon as the couple that was in the last booth in the far corner nearest the exit was finished, they asked me again if I'd like to take that booth to be even more comfortable! I told them that I'd eat outside if that's what they really wanted, the waitress assured me she was just making sure I was comfortable. I NEVER play the handicap card or ask for different treatment then everyone else, I make sure I don't make things harder or weird for the business or the servers.but in this case, for the first time since I became a T-6 paraplegic 12 years ago. I felt extremely discriminated against. My wife and I joked and she said "nobody puts baby in the corner". F-ers!

I ordered the porterhouse steak medium well. The picture guide shows some (pink) but mine come out Well done and dry.
They corrected the problem by cooking another steak for me but by the time it was served my party was done and anxious to leave. Which forced me to eat fast and not enjoy the better cooked steak. Something about "The Outback" They use way to much Salt in their seasonings for my tast. I guess there is no real reason for me to go back. The service was impecable though. Greg

The food was filling and the appetizers were on point. I had to get a perfectly griller salmon with brocoli and cheddar with baked potatoe. I got to try the shrimp and steak neaxt time.

It was awesome. Wonderful service and the food is phonomanal. Dont pass on the blooming onion was our first time here but we will be back soon. A must.

I have not eaten at an Outback in over 20 years, not impressed with the service and quality of the meal. Applebee's is so much better.

Steak was fine but the asparagus was obviously reheated (mushy) and the mashed potatoes were.cringe, obviously just instant. And if they weren't they really tasted like instant. Shame, I might as well make my own food bc the reason I come to a restaurant is to eat at least food as good as mine and not have to make it and apparently they are only interested in the latter.
