Outback Steakhouse, El Cajon CA

The foods taste and presentation was good, but the service was pretty subpar. The waiter we had took a long time to bring drinks, and it kind of felt as if he didn't really care about making sure we were comfortable or enjoying our food. Maybe he was having a bad day, idk. But other than his service, the food itself was fine.

Pretty sure they mixed up our orders. Had our steaks on the wrong plates. My creamed spinach was barely warm. The lobster tail was like literally one bite in size. And we paid 130$. Not really worth it honestly

Caesar salad was a little tired, but ok. Mashed potatoes side was very good. French onion soup was ok, weakish broth and slightly smaller serving. Kiwi strawberry l

The service was excellent and catered to us! They had a large choice of menu with satisfied each of our tastes. The dekor itself was very inviting.

Staff worked hard to not let Covid effect their service. All had good attitude and seemed like they wanted to be there.

Failed to serve us! Seated people first when we came in with only two people and we came in before anyone, couldn’t even take our info! Ridiculous!

They have the best Rye bread on planet earth. Also, the steak shrimp and everything on the menu for that matter is beyond amazing

Had the prime rib$$. It was kinda tough; not melt-in-your-mouth like before. Seems like food quality has dropped since covid. Not eager to go back and spend my $

Saturday afternoon not too crowded food was very good service was good and as a senior I got a 10% discount so it was great

The Outback Prime Rib is one of the best steak dinners I've ever had! Oh, and the Seared Ahi App with the ginger sauce was the best Ahi dish I've ever had! Thanks to our server for putting up with our screaming child. See you again soon!

After a bad experience where we waited an extra hour past the time our food was supposed to be ready, we received $20 certificates. So today we decided to come back and use them. I arrived about 5 mins past the time our food was supposed to be ready and it was ready. So I was like "cool, no wait this time. It'll be a better experience. " Well after I got home I saw that my steak and my husband's burger were both well done and we both chose medium. Nothing worst than overcooked meat. Also, we got the chip dip trio app and they did not give enough chips for the amount of dips AND they were stale. Like come on.chips are cheap. Throw out the stale ones and give people fresh, full servings of it. I was really hoping for a better experience, but it was disappointing, especially since it's 30 minutes round trip to my closest outback.

The staff was friendly and waited on us promptly. The steaks are great. Nice and juicy with just enough seasons. The ambiance is cozy with low lights. A great place for date night.

Went on a holiday weekend which was probably a slow time for them judging by the skeleton crew they had on the front of the house side. The wait time was a little excessive for what I've been accustomed to with Outback. Besides that, the food was amazing. Fresh and hot as I've always experienced regardless of location.

Daniel the bar tender was very courteous and didn't keep anyone waiting, he was hustling around waiting on tables, bussing tables, serving drinks. What a great employee!

Our waiter was the best. Unfortunately they are still very much under staffed I don't hold that against them the food was marvelous
