Outback Steakhouse, Modesto CA

I enjoy coming into the Outback not just to eat but for Eric who is always upbeat and pleasant. He goes way and beyond to make sure I am satisfied with the service his presence is very upbeat.

Food was great, but our waitress acted like we were hanging around for too long, told her manager so the manager had come and asked if there was anything we needed. We mentioned we were waiting to pay and she said the waitress is technically the one who would give us the check and take our card yet.the waitress had literally never returned to the table for a long while.

The food was good, I feel like the sweet potato didn’t have too much flavor. The sirloin steak I ordered was perfect. I did not really care for the coconut shrimp. I would eat here again. 7/10

We ordered 1/2bloomin onion. It came after all our food was on table. I asked her about it. She brought it later. Was not hot barely warm. We didn’t eat it. Told her it wasn’t hot, but nothing was done.asked for a box to take home and heat it up. She brought box. Salad was fine and also the soup.

We recently dined there and had a wonderful time. The service was excellent and professional. Attention was paid to our pre dinner drinks and bread. Service at the table was fast and efficient. Our server was helpful with the specials that night as well as the various sides available with each dish. My wife and I both had the grilled lobster and steak - I had the NY & she had the Filet - both were done perfectly. We finished our dinner with a great dessert. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were all friendly and polite. We will definitely return for another visit - I need to see if they can recreate the same wonderful experience.

My daughter had her best birthday here. The food was soo good. We all were raving the whole time. Host Elaine was very nice sweet and informative & food was delicious and very clean plan on coming back

Went back a week ago for dinner and I must say that this place it’s not as good as it was.
The quality is not there and the menu has fewer choices.

Our server went above and beyond. We loved the service and attention we received. The food was cooked to perfection. We love coming here for dinner.

I Came with with my mom sister and nieces and it was the best experience I’ve ever received especially from the host Elaine very attentive patient and understanding will definitely go back

I am on a business trip. I wanted a shrimp salad and Outback was around the corner. I needed something nutritious. The salad from Outback's website mentions mixed greens. The salad I got is all iceberg without any nutritional value and fat from dressing and cheese. The shrimp is good but I could have gotten a better green salad at McDonalds. The service was excellent! But I will not consider Outback when I need something nutritious to eat.

"Due to covid", they no longer allow orders to be paid for prior to pickup. I must go get the oder myself and pay upon arrival. So now, the only way to order food for delivery is through grubhub, where the price for everything is doubled. Convenient.

Nate from Modesto was incredibly attentive, efficient, provided our meal so fast- it was an awesome experience! The cooks food was incredibly delicious! Would recommend to all my friends and acquaintances! Way to go Outback!

Had a great dinner with the family. The food is great, we had probably one of the best servers in recent memory who made the evening special. Phillip B was outstanding! The service was exceptional, we usually get average service, but Phillip B really delivered next level service. Even my teens recognized the extra attention and recognized this is not your average service. Management, if you read these, Phillip B should be recognized for the work ethic, which reflects well on the restaurant.
