Wow, where do I begin to explain how wonderful the food was here! I had the Wasabi poke bowl with Quinoa and brown rice! I was blown away by how fresh the tuna was! I loved the combinations of flavors. I had the dressing in the side so I could regulate how much to put on! My husband had a cod and a steak taco! He often eats tacos and can't remember a better fish taco! Kudos to the excellent staff

We wanted seafood/fish at a place that offered a variety without having to go to the coast. This restaurant offered that, as well as several options for how the fish was cooked. Everything was delicious including the salmon chowder.

Not the best sushi or miso soup. The design of the restaurant was pretty good. The service was great and fast. No pictures.

This was our first time here. We visited San Francisco and wanted some fish in the way back. I looked up fish restaurant in Google. This place had very good reviews. But alas, the reviews aren't accurate.
It was beautiful inside and out.
But, the staff isn't consistent.
The front girls attitude wasn't pleasant, almost as if she was asking why we were there. Just eyeing us.
She sat us on a tiny two person table.
It was very busy around our table.
Probably the worst spot. The old ladies around us keep getting up with their walkers. I had to lean forward cause the layout was idiotic. Everything was to tight. Everyone walking past us, Including the staff with empty dishes made it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere.
So we decided to order a pork belly roll thing, a firecracker roll. And an upgraded fish and chips thing
Also a couple juice drinks,
The silverware had seen better days, with Tanes bent and both sets of knives and forks were extremely scratched up, as if they were purchased at thrift store. No exaggeration.
So how's the food? Well. The rolls were.eeh.very mediocre. Not much flavor. I was expecting something that pops out, or stands out with the name of Firecracker, one would expect that. But no. Not even close.
The food was on par with a typical medium quality chain restaurant. Our server for some reason didn't put in our main order. So we had to wait. Im glad we didn't get the fresh fish, since it was very likely that would be disappointing. I'll say though, the fish and chips were pretty good. Not amazing.
I will go elsewhere for fish next time we go visit San Francisco. But this one is a no

Food and service were both well below average. My entree (striped sea bass) tasted odd but was in all fairness edible. I did not get diarrhea. From the time we ordered, the fish came off the grill and to our table in less than 5 minutes. Please do the math on how that is possible. The kimchi rice was smothered in what I can only describe as bang bang sauce. Other guests complained about the vinegar-forward start, mid and finish of their dishes, and they had stomach aches in the evening after finishing their dishes.

Cocktails came as we were finishing dinner and were a disaster. The waiter forgot about our table. Dinner was expensive considering the quality of the product and service.

The women’s bathroom was reportedly falling apart. Quite literally the door handle of a bathroom stall come off the door and the floor was covered in water.

The food is excellent. The fish is fresh and beautifully prepared with your choice of many sides. I love this place.
