Pacific Hills Calvary Chapel

I actually have only been to the church a couple times (Live 80 miles away but wanted to visit the church and bring my mother) but love Pastor Dave’s teaching on K wave and have listened to him off & on for years!
I Went into different messages and podcast to see if I could find particular ones and I was so disappointed because it seemed everywhere, every category
I looked there was money being asked for… the’ tapes, teachings and books
this and that and got so confused and discouraged I left the site….
(And no real written explanation as to the money, where it goes, what if you don’t have the resources etc, ;- (
Please if someone part of the church knows of where you can simply go
On your phone and hear certain teachings, (without being charged for a series or each time) please explain to me and straighten me out.
Everywhere we go in this world right now we’re being slammed and hit with this kind of thing and feel it shouldn’t be this way, (so blatant it felt) with God‘s word!

Very welcoming church. Quaint. Family orient. Great children programs, if needed. Alot to offer. A house of God.

It’s so refreshing to find biblically-based, honest down to earth churches and pastors. I first tried this church last week with Pastor Hill preaching which was awesome and one of the reasons I came back. Pastor Rolph preached today and was wonderful, hilarious and the real deal. The music is beautiful and well-led, with not only newer songs but some hymns, which I love.

My son loves the Sunday school and was asking me almost every day this past week when he was going to church again. He was so happy.

All in all, great experience. I kept telling my parents about Pacific Hills and they can’t wait to come in the next couple weeks.

Hello. I cannot give more than one star because I have had a reoccurring issue with another person who attends the church and have not been able to reach out to the church through their contact us page on their site because the send button seems broken. The person whom I've unfortunately had consistent issues with is Mrs. Duckens, and she has 2 daughters. The problem that has been persistent is that even though I don't go up to talk to her, she will glare at me in a rude manner, or will say degrading things if others (including her daughters) aren't around to witness, and other things like this. She doesn't seem to like me though there isn't any rational or valid reason I can think of why, and I didn't seen her there much earlier last year, but with her currently going there I feel very unsafe. I would like it if someone could address her about her behavior, and that if she kept it up she wouldn't be able to come back anymore. I hate to have to say something like that about someone, but she's left me with no choice in this matter.

I've known Dave for a very long time. Coming here feels like home. His messages are realistic and down to earth. I am grateful for love and support from this community.

Pacific Hills Calvary Chapel is a very friendly and welcoming church. Pastor Dave is a very sound Bible teacher who is balanced in his approach to the Christian life; and always ties the Bible verses in his study to practical applications for living our lives to the fullest in today's world.
