Went in to get hash browns for dinner. Always famous for they were soggy. Didn't really taste all that. Great and a little cold. Not impressed

Pretty fire selection of liquor and beer. Staff is always chill and prices are generally fair. Also open until 2: 00 a.m. Which is a huge plus.

I've been going there for over 10 years always friendly and on the first name basis it's great having a mom and pop store that's always open and ready to help

They stay open til 2am. They are the coolest, nicest people. I've locked myself out of my car 4x there. I know. Unbelievable huh? Been there for me every single time! Thanks sooo much ladies & young gentleman.

Love this place! This is my go-to in North Park. They always have a vast selection of spirits. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Love this store but sometimes der products are expired, workers needs to associate more to da customers. Great place the butcher da old Mexican man really nice we always talk, great deals on meats. Been coming here for awhile.

Great store that takes care of all of us on the Blvd. They treat us like family. Whenever we need something, they always have our backs. Honest people which is hard to come by. Thanks pops, ma, and sis. You all help us and open until 2am

The girls are always working late and super nice. Store is always open until 2am daily. They have a great selection.

How does this place have good reviews? Lol overpriced and bad customer service. Pretty sure the cashier up charged me on a few items that were already overpriced. I also bought an expired snickers bar and didn’t realize it (most of their candy is expired so remember to check) and all the homeless people surround this location so be prepared to be harassed as well.

Always a pleasure to do business with! Family run (a guess, but if I am wrong congrats to them, it feels like it and that is a positive) and they treat everyone with dignity and respect. They take EBT and carry snacks that everyone can afford, but good heavens you will also find hidden gems in their alcohol selections from a good inexpensive wine to a high end bottle of scotch! Prices are fair and even during the pandemic they were consistent, consistent, consistent. That says a lot. Thanks guys!

This is my go-to liquor store! This is the ONLY place that I know of that is open until 2 AM. Friendly owners and workers who are always more than happy to help you.

I can’t get over this shop. I was really fascinated by the huge collection of wines they had. I really loved their wines because it has a great taste and good aroma. The staff was really helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me in choosing a great bottle of wine that would be nice to give as a present for my colleague’s sent off party. What a lovely wine shop. A must-visit.

Cons: Open every day from 9-2 (*See Pros) -This is the ONLY store that’s open until 2: 00, but they’ll close early without warning or for any apparent reason which is super frustrating/disappointing. The constant crowd of people that clutter the main doorway and sidewalk are never pleasant- They’ll make lewd comments or catcalls, ask for handouts, harass you about what you bought/where you’re going, and can get aggressive if ignored. It has been enough to deter me completely on more than a few occasions. (No, the store did not invite them, but in 10 years not once have i seen or heard anyone ask them to clear out or even to just be respectful of the patrons).
Pros: Excellent location just off 30th & El Cajon with street-side & alley entrances. Open every day from 9-2 (*See Cons). Friendly, family owned & ran store with VERY reasonable prices. The building is old and feels a bit grungy, but if you look it really is kept very clean. Huge beer & alcohol selection and solid selection of grocery & last-minute items. Cash/credit/EBT accepted (though, as others noted, card payments seem to annoy them).
In a nutshell: If you keep your head down and get through the front door, it’s definitely worth it.
