Pacific Pain Physicians, Santa Barbara CA

All of the doctors that have seen me for regular appointments or injections have been wonderful. I had been seeing Barbara Irish for over a year and she is amazing. She is so compasionate and understanding. She has moved on to another location. I now see Matt Ewing and he is also great. He is so gentle with pump refills and professional.

VERY RUDE AND QUESTIONABLE PROCEDURES.

One of the nurses, Barbara Irish, was so incredibly rude to my wife. Pseudoscience and crystal healing is NOT medicine! I do not recommend this place for anyone. There are plenty of other more pleasant places.

I had a back procedure done at PPP, it was fast & painless. The staff, very professional. I recommend them to everyone.

I can't imagine I am the only one with a negative experience with PPP, but here is my story: I was referred to PPP by my PCP who sent my MRIs to them assuming they would take my insurance. I called NUMEROUS (10? Times) over 3 days, leaving messages, on hold and no one answered after 10 minutes, I even went to their website where the recording said you could make an appointment! I chose a doctor and a time slot of 4 pm the next day which was available and confirmed via email that a staff member would contact me to verify the appointment. Funny thing though, their office hours showed they close at 4 pm, so I called again and left another message. I was finally contacted a few hours prior to my appt. THIS was the 1st time I was able to talk to a LIVE person who promptly told me they no longer accept my insurance! Days of calling, leaving messages, simply asking for confirmation of insurance coverage.frustration galore while my in so much pain! I would not recommend THIS OFFICE (I cannot review the doctors obviously) due to the terrible customer service or lack of any respect for potential patients.

Matt Ebling is a very professional and competent PA. He listens carefully and documents your issues, communicates with the doctors effectively, and is always very pleasant and personable.

Dr. Pires has a magic touch and I feel very blessed that circumstances led me to him for the care of my pain.

I would highly recommend this pain clinic! They are all very knowledgeable, very caring and take the time to answer all your questions. I would go nowhere else after seeing them!

I would definitely recommend ppp to everyone who has a need for pain management. Always there to listen and help.

She was extremely knowledgeable about pain management and offered viable options to assist in controlling g pain. In addition, she clearly explained what to expect relative to possible side effects and limitations of the various options. The only down side was that the order for the MRI was not faxed to the facility right away (more probably the office staff responsibility) so I had to wait a day to schedule the MRI. All in all, I would highly recommend having Irish as a medical provider.

These Doctors are so Special, caring and up to date on newest treatments. They actually LISTEN to what you say

First rate, start to finish. Courteous, competent staff, no wait time. Doc was generous with time and explanations. Fifth event in three years. Consistent every time.

I cannot boast enough about Pacific Pain Physicians in Bakersfield. They have great staff and amazing Doctors. The receptionist at the front always has such a welcoming smile and wonderful attitude. The MA's are so kind and always helpful. I absolutely love everything about this Pain Management office.

Awesome doctors, all of them! I like even almost all of the Physician's assistants also. Great care!
