Dr. Murphy cares about people. A good Dr.and a good man. If complaints about him are posted I think maybe these people should remind themselves that he is a human being as well and no one in this world is perfect all the time. I would recommend Dr. Murphy to anyone who may want help. So five stars for Dr. Murphy! He saved my life with his wisdom and medical experience

I called this office for help. To make an appointment with a psychiatrist. Asking for help is sometimes half the battle. The front office receptionist was rude heartless and cold. No compassion when she declined to offer me an appointment and told me to seek elsewhere. Saying they only help mild cases. Why not just tell me that in an email or voicemail then waste my time and be so rude to me on the phone.

I understand paying a fee for missing an appointment because they hold the spot for you but i made a genuine effort to make the appointment. Circumstances were out of my control. I still called to let them know I wouldn’t make it and tried to reschedule. Tried. Took them about a week to finally reach out about it. And the fee for missing the appointment? $175. That seems excessive especially when I know the medical industry is more of a for profit industry than it is about helping people (not the individuals but on a large scale). So congrats you gauged me for one payment of $175 I feel like multiple payments from actual healthcare would have added up to much more than that but I know how important that instant gratification can be. Don’t waste your time here. Unprofessional. Or do. I don’t really care

Have been meeting with Dr. V for 5 months and truly appreciate his experience, professionalism, and approach. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of psychiatric help. Also I had nothing but excellent assistance from the staff as I began working with this office.

Office staff is helpful and friendly. Dr. Williamson is now the second doctor I have had from here that shows zero care for his patients. Dr. Williamson seems to believe writing prescriptions that are habit forming is the only way to help his patients. If you are looking for a provider who will truly care for you and want to see you get better, stay far away from pacific psychiatry.

I genuinely like both individuals my family has here at this office. I have Erik and my son has Mary. I can only say working with this office has been so much easier than the office I had for almost one year prior. I have been treated very nice and they are really on timid of their game. Super happy I found this place

I just wanted to schedule the woman on the phone named who said her name was Kathy was absolutely horrible to me to the point that I chose to hang up and not follow through. If this is the way they treat people who just want to make appointments during intake this is a very poor representation of their office. I was very polite the entire time I’ve never had someone I’ve never seen before speak to me in such an awful way. I’m not one to leave reviews normally but this place needs to get it together. This was intolerable. Just looked down the list and saw that I am not the only person who was treated this way by intake it’s very very unfortunate.

Absolutely terrible. The treatment of the woman that called sent my boyfriend into an awful panic attack. He needed and wanted my help to answer questions. I understand the intent of not wanting that but why speak to people poorly and cause then more harm when they are seeking help? In addition, we had his paperwork in front of us with his diagnosis and she kept telling us "that's not a diagnosis". Well that's what it states under diagnosis then a separate list of symptoms so not sure what she wanted! Called to speak to a supervisor or manager to tell them of our experience and give some feedback on appropriate ways to deal with patients but they did not return my call.

Dr Williamson is a very unique psychiatrist and I say that because he is professional but caring and accessible. I've been to a few psychiatrists in my lifetime because of my illness, bipolarity, but none of them displayed any warmth with one exception besides him. Also, he has a good sense of humor and has prescribed effective drug treatment. And previously, when I have been in crisis I've never had a psychiatrist tell me to call immediately but he does and he's there.

2023: After two years with Dr. Altesman, receiving services has become so simple. We have a simple conversation reviewing recent events to maintain the status quote. Possible alternatives are suggested based on new research and I get to make the decision. I never feel pressured.

2021: My wife suggested seeing a psychiatrist for depression but I don't have depression! So I thought! I completed the forms and Dr. Altesman reviewed my symptoms. He was very frank and honest with me. First, after reviewing my family history, we tried stimulant medication and voilà, I'm on point, but still sad. Then, an SSRI. Better than voilà - a miracle! My marriage is so much better I can't be more pleased! Thanks Pac Psychiatry!

They're really professional. The staff responds quickly with my questions or concerns. Love their team.

Kathy the coordinator was very rude kinda yelling at me when I asked why they can’t help me. Her response was abrupt and cold saying that the only take some patients. No compassion AT ALL and it’s unfortunate that this happened. My family and friends are disgusted and horrified by this situation.

My daughter see's one of the Nurse Practitioners and our family is very satisfied with the care she receives with her provider. Mary Garret is always attentive, compassionate, and explains everything clearly.

Williamson is great. Straight to the point and genuinely seems like he wants to help resolve any issues you may be having.
