Pain Specialists of Orange County - Irvine Office

I received excellent care from Dr Shabazian for several years for spinal cord injury, but upon being seen by PA, Tina Thomas Robinson I received substandard care, no return messages from voicemail and emails requesting refill. I was forced to go through withdrawals with lack of care by PA Tina and no concern. My last refill of meds ran out at 30 days but refill appt was scheduled for 36 days therefore staff / PA expected me to endure (6) days of withdrawals.

There is always a long wait in the office. Dr Gerayli used to be a good Dr. 5hen the opiate crisis came and he refuses to give pain meds! He doesn't want to get sued. We changed Drs, but the same situation, no one wants to get sued. We had been going here for years, and now can't find a pain specialist to help us.

I owe them my quality of life. They've taken care of me for over a year without any issues. Thanks especially to Dr. Mousavi for listening and understanding my rare disease.

Horrible. Front desk chick was rude. Filled out everything online, snapped at us and said she didn’t have it. Gave her my grandma’s insurance cards and she said they weren’t the right ones, without even looking at them. Told her to please look and check again and sure enough, they were right.
Doctor was cold and rude as well. Snapped at my 87 year old grandma for speaking because she couldn’t hear him, she has hearing aides and again, is 87 YEARS OLD. Told her to stop interrupting him. Horrible bedside manor, and not a place to go for help. Already in pain, don’t need to be treated badly on top of it. Absolutely ridiculous.

There manager has taken over. She knows nothing about pain management. She has caused so many delays in getting the medicine on time. She has taken control over the doctors she don't care about pain management making someone come in the day before a major surgery or she won't get her medicine. If they need to schedule a phone visit when it's convenient for them but will try not no matter the situation

Dr Mousavi is the best, he will take care of any of your needs! The staff at the office are also caring and make sure that you are comfortable. Now the customer service yes i agree can do a better job.

We had an appointment and when we showed up they said they don’t have us in their system at all. Awful service.

I received an epaderal in my spine and now I have some questions about some of my reactions and I either can’t get thru to anyone or leave a message and no one returns my call!

Dr. Shahbazian is very nice and considerate. However, his staff is terrible! I have left numerous messages for his assistant without any call back until I have left several messages days later when I am out of my pain medication. When I finally get a call back, the message I receive is unclear and I have to leave another message in order to get clarification. I always have to call the receptionist and have her look up the information for me. Most times, I just get switched back to the assistant's voicemail where I have to leave another message. This is very frustrating to say the least! The staff does not seem to care about the patient and the pain they are in. They are rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate.

Dr Shabazian is kind and understanding, as well as the office staff. I appreciate this healthcare group.

The staffs are so irresponsible they will give an appointment on the phone and when you show up they say you don’t have the appointment and that also I was going to have cortisone injection in my back and I had taken medicine for anxiety. Whenever you call if they don’t pick even if you leave several messages they don’t call you back. My insurance requested some paperwork from they called for approx.two months they would not send it. I would go to the office several times to tell them to send the papers. They always blame you for everything. Extremely disappointed with their service. Very frustrating. I am in so much pain but after all this can I trust them with my back I don’t know. I have never ever seen a doctor’s office to be so careless. Dr. Yanak is no good either if he is running late he is not even going to listen to you. I pay $70 co pay plus my insurance and then you come home disappointed.

Dr Shabazi is Amazing. I've been going to him for over 5 year's. I've been treated with Epidural's for my spine. I have 7 fractures in my Spine/Lumbar; and a Deviated Disk. Dr Shabazi is very attentive, and compassionate in treating my Pain Management.

Dr. Gerayli is not responsive at all. They do not answer their phone. They do not return messages. I'm trying to get my Dad's prescriptions transferred to a new pharmacy and they can't be bothered to call me back nor get the info to the new pharmacy.

Dr. Shabazian has been my Doctor for seven years. He is so kind, he listen s and cares. He takes great care of me. I've had many spinal epidural and caudle in his Irvine office. The nurses are very thorough and always make sure I am comfortable and blood pressure is good. I have anxiety so my blood pressure goes up. Dr. SHA makes sure I'm okay too. I am so thankful for the pain specialists of Orange County. Thank you Dr. SHABAZIAN

So I have read all of the posts, mostly negative, and I have to say that has not been my experience. I have been going to the Laguna office for a while now and couldn't be more satisfied. I have only experienced kind and caring PA's.they never rush me through my appointments and let me vent about my physical issues and I usually leave with a smile on my face. I will admit that the scheduling of appointments can get a bit frustrating and NEVER miss or be late to one because you won't get one anywhere near your original date. I'm am satisfied with the care in receive.

I’m not sure why there are negative reviews. Spinal Pain Specialists are some of the most caring doctors/medical staff I have ever come across. I have never once been forced to take a prescription like some of these comments suggest. The only people I ever witness having a bad experience here, are the people who walk into the office acting rude, and literally demanding an early refill of whatever medication they are given. The medical staff and doctors make it clear that they will not honor early refills. These early refill seeking patients have clearly found their way to Google, to leave an untrue negative review. My doctor is Dr. Shabazian and he is very caring and attentive to his patients. If you are having pain go see them. They will take good care of you. They will never force unnecessary procedures or medications on to you. Their patients well being is their only concern.
