This place is always fun to meet new people and a joy to converse with a the staff when you need help looking for product.

I love supporting local stores when ever possible. The prices are a little higher then Amazon, but The staff was friendly and knowledgeable that's not readily available on Amazon. The store was nicely laid out for easily finding items

I went in to buy 10 Booster packs for Magic the Gathering for my Brother’s birthday. He comes to play Magic here regularly and does the Draft here every Friday evening.

When I explained to the employee (sorry I don't remember your name.) what I wanted, he suggested that I buy a package of Magic cards that came with 10 Booster packs and some other cool stuff for less than what the 10 packs would have cost me! Unreal, right?

The guy could have easily sold me what I asked for and I would have been happy to have unknowingly paid more money for exactly what I came in to buy for my Brother. But he didn't. He asked me some questions about who I was buying the booster packs for and what kind of set he was collecting for. Then he told me about this really cool package that came with 10 booster packs, was less expensive than just buying the booster packs outright, and that had just been released!

I want to be clear that he didn't try to "up-sell" me, he knew a lot more about the game than I do (which really doesn’t say much. As I know next to nothing about it), and really helped me make a much more informed purchase tailored to the set my Brother was trying to build. So, I ended up buying something that was much better than what I had come in for!

Needless to say, my Brother was extremely impressed and happy about the set I gave him for his birthday!

Thanks for the help! I also have bought many board games that are difficult to find here. Really cool place.

The only thing that I wish they carried is a selection of action figures and comic books to go along with everything they sell.

I've been looking for some specific action figures and I can't find them. The guy who helped me did give me a good place to go and check out at the mall. But, I really don't like malls. I may go there anyway.

Thanks again for what you guys do to help us Newbs buy cooler gifts for people who are really into things we aren’t! I will definitely be back. The education I got, along with the recommendations for different locations to get stuff that I am super into, but they don’t carry has won them a new and loyal customer!

I usually have a pretty good experience at this store, their single selection is usually pretty good with a larger inventory online but my experience today made me not want to come here anymore. This was my first time picking up singles in person and I didn't realize I had to wait until they messaged me. When I came in they said it would be a bit and I had no issue with this, it was 5 cards so no big deal. When I came back the two employees at the counter were visibly upset about the orders they had to do (dropping f bombs saying how their inventory system is horrible). I saw my order ready on the counter but one employee was getting other orders while the other one was standing around and even made eye contact with me but ignored me. It took 6 minutes to finally get rung up after standing at the counter with no other customers all while the guy getting the other orders ready was cursing under his breath but the lady who rung me up was nice. As I walked out I thanked the two guys who did my order but all they did was look up at me and say nothing with this po'd look on their face. There's better tcg stores in the area like Kingslayer or TC rockets in the mall that treat their customers better.

Caleb, Scott and the rest of the staff are really awesome people to receive service from. They are all always so helpful and enthusiastic to assist with cards. The best team in the business is why I keep coming back! Thank you for being the best in North County guys!
