Pakistani Restaurant Pakwan reviews
22Really good food especially the Tandori. The Naan could be the best in the City! Cheap and cheerful in a chill environment.
Ordered the lamb biriyani and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan, and the naan was tasted the best of them all.
Biriyani - meat was dry and absolutely no flavor. Quantity was alright.
Chicken tikka masala - Was super liquidy like they were running out of it and diluted it with water. Could taste only tomato and no spices!
The food can't get any better, the price are very reasonable and the person there who i think is the owner is awesome. Great service. We also saw him give food to the homeless.
As advertised that they have northern Pakistani food unfortunately it is not. It's not even close to northern Pakistani food. Food taste very bad. I ordered chicken karahi but it wasn't chicken karahi i don't even know what it was. Don't recommend going there.
Amazing. The chief knew how to handle the spices which were playful on my tongue but never too salty or overwhelming. I got lamb biryani which is tasty, the meat was cooked just right with occasional bites of yummy fat. Come again for sure
If I could rate a 0 I would because we took 12 pieces of the chicken legs and 4 of them were completely raw they look like they never were cooked only served. We waited over an hour. The cost came up to 180 plus we ordered some other stuff and I would not go there ever again.
Favorite in the city for tandoori fish, and garlic naan. Aachari chicken and raita too. Bring cash.
Can't go wrong with any of their dishes. Chicken tandoori is juicy and has perfect amount of spice in it. They had tandoori wings biriyani once on their special menu, my goodness what a dish it was! Hope they make that on a regular basis. Lamb biriyani is to die for.
Family-style food at a frenzy venue. Takeout available. Super-fast service. Mildly spicy food and super tasty. Naan is delicious!
Customer service was so bad and I came all the way from another state. Not like my expectations were super high but they don’t care about their customers at all. Would give 0 starts if I could. I don’t ever write reviews but I thought I should warn everyone. Spend your money elsewhere:)
Good food, good serving, karahi was a little too spicy for me, will stick with butter chicken or tikka masala next time
Food was great but they were rude. My boyfriend just wanted to use the bathroom and they banged on the door multiple times saying we're closing, get out. I have never seen anyone do that to a customer my entire life. That is a very rude thing to do. I'm sure they had plenty to do before they would go for the night and they couldn't wait 2 minutes to get us to leave. Absolute trash employees!
Delicious and savory food, large servings, BYOB.and spicy. Also great social scene and option for a date that won't break the bank!
Extremely large portions, great place to get dinner and have leftovers for work. Has a great community feel to things. Never disappointed by anything I order.
A great place for a bite. Amazing food. Get the chicken stuffed naan and chicken curry.it's delicious. Parking can be tough.
Great food, big portions. I enjoyed everything I had, the mango lassi was really good. The Chicken Aran (or similar, the spicy chicken curry) was quite tasti over rice.
Authentic food at very reasonable prices. They really give you a lot of food in your orders. I am very picky with Indian Food, this place is one of the best, I i highly recommend this place to everyone.
Excellent food. Noisy ambience. Prepayment and self service. Tried Keema naan, tandoori chicken and mango lassi, all cooked to perfection. Would definitely try again.
A perennial favorite. Excellent food and fair prices. Always perfect for a quick trip back to the old country.
I went here expecting good Indian food seeing all the reviews. After eating the food, I realized that the reviewers never tasted actual Indian food.
They make biryanis by mixing the rice with chicken/lamb pieces. That's not how biryani is made. They need to be slow cooked together. Lamb biryani was passable but chicken biryani was the worst.
Portions were huge but we left most of the food.
