Palm Canyon Roadhouse reviews
19As bad as this place is, it still has a fantastic function. The Coachella valley is a beautiful place and I’m proud to call it home. But like any good home, you need a trash can for your garbage. And here is the function Palm Canyon Roadhouse. Located inconveniently next to so many better, cleaner, more welcoming bars and restaurants, the worst of the worst always seems to seep their way down to good ol PCR. And that’s fine. Let them spend their sober money in our economy but when they get drunk and gross and violent, they can find a welcoming place in PCR. They can eat all the bad food and drink all the luke warm beer they want. You like watered down drinks with a side of anti-American confederate loving culture? You know where to go!
Everything was good, service was excellent, food was also good. Kinda a local hang out but people were friendly. Definitely will be going back to catch a game, burger, and a beer.
Let's start of with this, CASH ONLY place, buuuuut, the food is soooo good. Ordered 4 meals, 1 regular drink and 3 alcoholic ones, along with an order of the jalapeño poppers, soooo good, and our total was $90.25, not bad. The attitude of our server, funny and entertaining. Loved it. Will definitely be coming back, not mad if we even come back today before leaving Palm Springs.
What a fun place to Drink & Eat at. I had the Pork Ribs. Believe me when I say that they were the best.
Super friendly atmosphere, they welcome everyone no matter your personal beliefs. The buffalo wings are amazing!
Decent dive bar. Freindly service. Could use an interior refreshing.
One of the only places open late in south side is palm springs.
As Toby Keith sings "I Love this Bar", so do I. Had a tasty Cheese Burger with fries and whatever was on tap and left with a smile on my face. Come on down and hang out with some real Americans!
The owner Greg was extremely rude. Screamed in mine and my significant others face, because we asked if we could bring our dog out to the patio after we had already bought a round of drinks. Lee in mind our dog was waiting in the car with the window down. He kicked us out just for asking that question. Didn’t even let us finish our drinks that we had just paid for. The Greg was also intoxicated and some folks out front said “he’s drunk and rude like that every night since he owns the place” wow I will never recommend this place to anyone. It was an awful experience. If I could put 0 stars I would.
Had a good time drinks are the best and music is popen.
All cash there.don't worry they have a ATM machine inside
Our large group of 8 was welcomed to the Palm Canyon Roadhouse. The service was very good. The food was descent to good. The decor and lighting was fun! We had several laughs as we read some of the signs in this joint (as well as the stickers in the bathrooms). The only complaint we had was the lighting was dim for dining but the host took care of that with quaint lanterns and adjusting the lights upon request. Good folks!
Visited this place last week. Everything was mediocre at best. Was really turned off by seeing their political affiliation in the restaurant. This veteran won't be back.
I’ve not been here since 2019 and I’m pleased to report that it is still great. Drinks and food are great and reasonably priced.i’ve always found the customers to be a friendly crowd and the staff are great.i didn’t see Greg on this occasion, but Eleanor, Autumn and a blonde lady, whose name i didn’t get, made this solo traveller feel very much at home. A for Dale…. He is bright, witty and fun, as well as a great bartender.
There's a reason our nation is so divided by politics and bad rightwing attitude: too many places like Palm Canyon Roadhouse. Unless you want a trip back to 1958 avoid this place. Nasty vibes. Should be located in Bakersfield.
This place makes me happy! Food is good drinks are good. It just makes you have a good day!
Terrible customer service owner Greg is a drunk and is always there and will verbally attack you his bar is empty on a Friday night completely empty.
I didn't care for the bartender/ waiter's loose cannon loud mouth behavior. This place had like a "trailer trash" atmosphere and I didn't feel comfortable there. I love P. S.but think I will eat somewhere else.
1) They taky cash only - they have atm inside = they expect you to pay the fee they don't want to pay for taking cards - but their prices don't reflect this fact. It is a small amout (for both, customer and owner) byt it is about the principle.
2) The place seems to be political and it looks like the owner froze in previous century.
3) Start accept cards and you can by one of the TOP places in the valley.
Anti-mask, anti-liberal dive bar. The old, blond female battle ax bartender is nice and helpful as can be (if you're white). Place was empty. What a surprise.
First time guest, my date frequently dines here. My steak was overcooked and only having French fries as a side option was weird. I'm an adult, I'd like to have some mushrooms or veggies with my ribeye. The steak sauce on our table was not clean. The salt & pepper shakers were sticky. I felt no one cared about the details. The staff was pleasant.
