Palm Desert Aquatic Center

I grew up as a competitive swimmer and this is my favorite pool of all time. Every winter, I make a trip to Palm Springs just to swim here. The staff are very friendly and it's very affordable for non-residents

Best family pool. Take the kids and parents. Sign up for a program. YMCA runs it and they are second to none. Great job City of Palm Desert!

It's a great place to go for a walk or play sports. It's has a lot of beautiful places to chill an very nice ponds with ducks

Absolutely great swim facility, with a beautiful parking lot in amongst a plantation of date palm trees. This place is great for kids too with a large pool with slides especially built for kids. And a great Olympic-size pool. Overall a great facility close to the city halls, garden and college of the desert across the street. Centrally located in the heart of Palm Desert.

They have great swimming pools! Recreational swimming on Fri Sat Sun! Exercise classes during the week. Great place.

Excellent facility
It's very well maintained and managed, lifeguards and swim instructors are friendly & professional. Also a great place to work with welcoming supervisors.

This place is great, the two pools have different water temperaturese and there is lots of shaded seating and also a grass bank to sit on if you wished. Only thing is the food stand only takes cash so make sure to bring some if you want, or you can pay with card at the entrance.

Wish they had some indoor area. Water fontain was extremely hot and wish it was located somewhere indoor and away from direct sun.

This pool is in a fantastic location. The local rec center is very close by, but the pool itself has three great swimming pools, the kids play area, and lap planes as well. The pool is well-maintained, covered with lifeguards, and is always fairly clean. There is plenty of parking nearby in the shade of the palm trees, and the entry fees are fairly reasonable.

Hard to get lap lane. Sometimes there are 10 lanes available other times two. Depends on what time you go. They have exercise classes and swim teams working out. Staff is friendly.

Nice family environment. Inexpensive water retreat with something for everyone. Responsive and alert staff. Snack bar with reasonable drinks and food.

So great the pool was closed at shadow ridge so we went here and it was awesome sadly one slide wasn't maintenence but it was fun

I enjoyed this place so much. Everything is clean so much supervision to take care of kids on swimming pools.great organized staff.pools are very clean and u dont see trash on the floors.

Currently have improvements in the works for younger people. That side is under construction.

Live in Cathedral City, five miles away and have to pay 'out of towner' price. Thanks. Also the pricing for seasonal costs are borderline class deviding. $ 630.00 Eye gouging dollars for a season pass. Thanks Again!

Beautiful outdoor swimming. 2 tips…. Check web site before every visit to make sure lanes are open…the men’s locker room locker doors sometimes don’t shut tight even when using a padlock so check before leaving.
