Palm Greens Cafe reviews
16Great place for a meal, they have dietary substitutes and are accomoding. Go see Chuy he will take care of you and make it a great experience.
Greeted and seated immediately, food was perfect. This was my second visit - the first visit was exactly the same. Servers are friendly. Will definitely eat here again.
Our first experience here and it was quite expensive, and very bland. We got an omelette with 0 seasoning on it, and also a burger which didn’t taste like anything special. I don’t see the difference in the quality of food compared to other places, but sure charging a premium.
I always enjoy Palm Greens. There aren't a lot of places in PS that I can enjoy a good vegan breakfast. And, nonvegans can also enjoy their meal without having to eat vegan. I had the breakfast platter with scrambled tofu, tempeh bacon and French toast. It was amazing. And, their fresh squeezed OJ was wonderful. I highly recommend Palm Greens.
Went for lunch, a classic overpriced spot with healthy options but mediocre food. Definitely do not recommend the Vietnamese noodle bowl, it was extremely bland without much substance or flavor and not worth the price. Smoothies lacked flavor and were also overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend.
Great breakfast, great Mexican, great juices – perfect for veggie/vegans, and all-around healthy for everyone else!
We love Palm Greens and have been going since it first opened. The food is great Vegan, Organic. The staff is amazing. Always enjoy seeing our favorite wait staff Michelle and Jackie.always fun. The service is Fast, the food is Yummy and the staff is Kind.
As a pre-Covid regular, I'm unfortunately never going back. First off, they treated us noticeably worse than the other customers around us, not checking in with us (we kept having to proactively ask for everything we needed, like to place our order and get our check) as they chatted with those at the tables on both sides of us; second, when our booth had an issue, they would not let us move to an identically-sized booth, saying that was only for four people, then minutes later sat two other people at that same booth; and to top it off, they do not offer free tap water at all. We spent $60 for lunch for 2 on a 100 degree day, and they wouldn't give us water to drink other than to sell it to us. Every other restaurant in Palm Springs offers free water upon request as far as I know. We're never going back.
Ambiance is great, the staff is nice. The burger was okay, but we also ordered the spicy Vietnamese noodle bowl and it was very underwhelming. The noodles were cold, and it was bland overall and a bit watery. The place is also very over priced. I mean, $6 to add 1/2 avocado? In what world is a whole avocado worth $12
Very disappointing. Until now, I’ve never been to a restaurant in California that doesn’t extend the courtesy of complimentary tap water. They’re greedy - trying to make money off of their customers by selling a tiny boxed 1 dollar water (and implied sparkling would cost the same but then charged us $5 for each small bottle). When our booth had an issue, they would not let us move to an identically-sized booth, saying that was only for four people, then minutes later sat two other people at that same booth. That was upsetting, and I am still unclear why they treated us differently. Never going back.
I eat at Palm Greens Cafe anytime I am in Palm Springs- great vegan options, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. The vegan reuben- a worthwhile indulgence!
Very disappointed I threw up the drink I purchased after I was home! I made a quick call to them to warn them about it and they never even offered a refund, the gentleman just said I hope you feel better! The bad drink was almost $11 bucks! So unfortunately I won't be returning anytime soon! I thought I'd found an awesome place but I guess not. Thankfully I do feel better after throwing it up!
So-so food. Service was INCREDIBLY slow. Sweet people, but they need another employee. Zero atmosphere.
Look, you can either sell smoothies in a cup with a lid that stands up to sipping, OR you can offer straws to customers like any normal shop, but in my opinion if you do neither then it's your fault when customers spill drinks all over themselves, as multiple people in my party did. It's like the McDonald's hot coffee cups: if you're selling a product in a vessel, the vessel must meet your customers' needs, or it's your fault. Honestly, I've never been sold a smoothie in my life without a straw, it's ridiculous, but OK I'll deal with it if the cup otherwise suffices, which this cup didn't.
No straw, but plastic cups. Go here if you're willing to ignore a big piece of plastic while gloating about not using a smaller piece of plastic. (And a paper straw would have been acceptable.)
PS they also don't even have milk for the smoothies. What even is this place.
My favorite organic café in Palm Springs! Always fresh & delicious, always served with a friendly smile!
The food was tasty & the waitress, Michelle K.was very friendly, attentive & enjoys being there.
In addition, the establishment has a great policy set in place that other businesses need to model theirs after:
They DON’T serve water because most people are not finishing their glasses & wasting our most precious resource, WATER.
