I am very comfortable and satisfied with Dr. Heinen, Wendy, John and Randy. Both our dig and cats have used their services. My pup had a very serious problem that they saw us through with a healthy dog now. Whew and thanks! We've been to 2 other vets in Coachella and we will stay with Dr. Heinen. He is professional, yet easy to talk to. Pricey, but that is the state of medicine everywhere. I trust my animals with them. My husband is a retired vetererian and is hard to please, so I feel we are in good hands.

Dr Heinen cared for our 17 yr old westie until the end. He was always wonderful with him. When Billy passed peacefully at home the staff even arranged for his cremation. Now they care for our new rescue

Was great when independently owned. When they had more than 1 vet. Hard to get appointments wait over two weeks. They had me see a traveling vet i guess so my dog could get an ultrasound necessary because something that showed up from another vet. Then set up altar sound 3 weeks out. I was going to take my pet to an emergency in Orange County. He was getting a tooth procedure and they could not due because of what was on xrays as potential problem with his spleen. That was not there fault only one person does all the ultrasounds in the Coachella valley. But because lack of doctors the appt with vet who had to be there with Radiologist they cancelled 2 days before. Shocked. During vet i had to see in order to get the ultrasound. Guess did not look at his blood work from week before at awful place. Took there because Palm Springs Animal had no appts. 2 months wait for a 4,000 dental procedure at a doggie dentist. I brought in 2 days before to make sure his little cough was okay and he could do surgery. Otherwise he would be switched back a week and somebody moved up. Already 60 day weight. Bad choice new vet, never did get response but huge bill. Palm Springs was trying to help me out. But vet missed his diagnosis of Tyroid Disease. Something we suspected and he was tested for Feb 2022. Why i had to do yet another appointment to get my dog on necessary meds. My vet 156 miles away could not order treatment off other vet work. So my dog suffers. And how Palm Springs Animal Hospital who use to be amazing well Dr Chang was. Now they just do not care. Go from 5 vets to 1

Unfortunately they are not accountable. They do not call with test results when they say they will, there are certain docs who only work certain days so there are more delays, also they did not provide me with an estimate for my dogs tumor surgery when they said they would. I am going to find a different veterinarian as I need to feel comfortable with a team.especially when they say my dog has a tumor.

It's been over 2 years since I had my little one in to see the vet there. He wasn't fixed and had a heart murmur. I took him to see the vet to get a paper so that his license wouldn't be so expensive. He was an older dog that I had rescued from the shelter. New to the area I didn't know the prices. They charged me $550 to do a stress test and I guess a physical. They told me to bring in a urine sample and a stool sample that I was already billed for. The money I use to pay for this vet bill was one of the checks for $600 that they gave during covid. I would not recommend this place to anybody they charge way too much for the services rendered. I gave one star because they took the time to explain to me that this was just the beginning of what they wanted to do. All I needed was a stress test, we knew he didn't have long time to live. I took him on to keep him from being euthanized. And to give him quality of life while he was still with us. I believe I accomplished what I wanted but I could have saved a lot of money if I had gone somewhere else and made his life even better. So unless you're well to do I would not recommend this pet hospital to anybody.

Palm Springs Animal Hospital is a great place with Dr. Heinin and his staff who are the definition of caring for the pets brought in and their parents (owners). The veterinarian crisis in the desert has put extra strain and stress on existing vets, and the result is they are at capacity and have to turn patients away. Dr. Heinin takes his time, explains clearly what and why about anything he recommends. Thanks to the good Dr. And his great staff!

These people are unprofessional, stuck in the past and beyond rude. I paid several hundred for full bloodwork on my dog. They never called me with the results, and ignored my repeated calls asking about them.

I was completely polite at all times. I got a new vet, who requested his records and told me about them.

They could have a useful website where I could see the results along with the doctors notes. They could also send me a quick email saying how they were done. I guess they are just too stupid to get on board with the 21st century which we have been in for 22 years.

Dr. Henein helped us through a difficult time with our beloved pet. His entire team is compassionate and caring, and we are thankful that we had their support. Highly recommended!
