Our first contact at PMC was with Adriana who made our day! She turned what could have been a disaster for us into a day to remember how much a smile and consideration can mean!

The traige was ok. Er nurses were neglectful they called us back didn't tell us who our nurse would be, didn't run any tests or fluids they say they would do. One nurse was too busy flirting with the blood work nurse. Lvn giving attitude to a patient. Asks how I feel to which she didn't care cause no medicine came my way. Left with a 10 min or less conversation with the doctor who didn't introduce himself. Got a shot then discharge papers with prescription and we were sent out. This hospital is suppose to have a good rating. And I think it might have earned that rating for their other departments. But in my personal opinion their emergency room department is horrible. Nurses have no bed side manner. I've seen nurses who are over worked and exhausted to the bone treat their patients with respect and care. These nurses I respect because despite their exhaustion they care for their patients. But Regional's emergency room nurses are terrible. They need to learn how to care and be kind to their patients not flirt with co-workers

Update: went back to ER on the 5th. Nurses were lazy calling people from the window so low you could barely hear it. Saw the nurse pour water into a cup using an open water bottle. Fix an injection with no gloves. Prepare the medication with no gloves. Asked the Er tech for patients advocate and was told they got rid of them position. The RN Leader didn't care when I explained what I witnessed. This hospital needs to get on the nursing staff to actually help patients and be clean doing so. Yelling patient's names, not wearing gloves and lack of emotions on concerns is very for a lack of a better word concerns.

Went to ER with chest pains, turns out I was having a heart attack. The Er staff were professional and made me feel at ease. During my recovery there I encountered great nurses lAgnes, Sara, Melissa, Angela and Angelica treated me with the best of care. Thank you for all your help and making my recovery a pleasant experience!

The ER had no proper organization of triaging the patients there. The lead RN was not helpful with patient care. She had an unprofessional attitude. ER staff took their time with everything in the front.

I went to ab hospital 5 times for a situation they kept telling me I was being “over dramatic” as soon as I came to Palmdale regional the staff made me feel comfortable everyone was so polite and I had an immediate diagnosis I would recommend Palmdale regional before any hospital

Doctor in the ER was very kind. He made sure to get me the right help. There was one nurse in the ER too, a male, I was really nervous about everything going on and he made sure to make me feel a bit more comfortable. I like that he was the only one out of all the staff there that took it that extra step to make sure I was feeling OK. And all it took was a nice compliment and letting me know what was going on because I was really confused about everything. Also another nurse Javier I asked if I could use the restroom and I let him know I was on my period so he asked if I needed any wipes. That was very thoughtful! Great job hiring good staff PRMC!

I cannot say enough about how I was treated at this facility. It’s was great they treated me like we were family and after my car accident I definitely needs to be heard they did just that. I was reassured about everything I was feeling and I was sent home with everything needed to take care of myself. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF I HAD INTERACTION WITH!

Everyone was full of compassion and very professional. I was amazed of how clean and sanitary the place was. All my needs were taken care of and I never felt neglected or alone. I would like to thank everybody at Palmdale regional for being a part of my life that day. Sincerely, Mark Rapko

EVERYONE working here, from the door security, the sign in desk, the Triage guy (with long dark hair who put us on the fast track to the Wildflower area?), the lady in window1, the mobile registrar, the technicians handling my ekg, blood work, chest X-ray, cat scan, and meds dispenser were all fabulous, kind and very efficient. A huge shout out to PA Jen who spent lots of time with me and successfully determined my problem and gave me a great education how to improve my health. She still did quite a battery of tests just to make sure something more serious was not the cause. After her meeting with me again after getting my results and having the benefits of my medication, I walked out of there with much relief in body and soul. Another wonderful thing is that my husband was allowed to join me in the 4 hours your staff spent with me. I was dreading going to the ER, but you all treated me so well, that I have nothing but praise for your staff and your procedures, which were amazingly efficient. BRAVO! Thank you and bless you for all you do. I came in wondering if I was close to a heart attack and left with a smile on my face and lots of relief.

My experience here was great. I went in with stomach pains & after they ran a few tests, Dr. Carter told us that my gallbladder had to come out asap. Being in the ER is not always the best experience because the nurses are always running around & are away from their desk. I was slumping over in a chair for almost 2 hours crying in pain until Matt an RN stopped by & got me situated with anyibiotics & a pain killer. He spoke with my doctor & got me the first room available. After getting situated & I was moved to my own private room in the 3rd floor. The RNs were very sweet. Olha my daytime nurse was so sweet & comforting & my nighttime nurse Jen was also very sweet & comforting. They both would answer any questions I had & reassuring me that my surgery will go good. My surgeon told my family my gallbladder was one of the hardest gallbladder removals hes had in a long time. My last day at the hospital I had both nurses Julie & Madison & they were also very comforting & making sure all my questions were answered. I would definitely come again when there is an emergency.

Great staff! The female RN that inserted my IV and took care of me all the way to the end is a true professional!

Their emergency dept is too short staffed and they just want to get people out. Took 3.5 hours just to be seen and an additional 4 hrs until discharge. The Dr didn't even tell me I was being discharged or the results of my labs. My ulcer still hurts.

Pray that you never have to taken here! If anything is wrong with the prescription they give you (and given their track record of missing critical element's, that is way too likely), there is little to no chance of getting that prescription fixed due to their uncooperative and unprofessional staff. The receptionist, Britney, is scatterbrained and will hang up on you without hesitation, leaving the pharmacy without required info to get the medications filled. The charge nurses with threaten reporting you, without understanding the reason for any delay in filling orders (which are the fault of the prescriber to begin with). They just want to make things impossible to force the patient to return to them, all so they can greedily charge them another copay for the "visit". Shady practices from the support staff negate any help the doctors may try to do. Avoid at all costs!
