Matthew is the best family law attorney in San Diego! Layla is an amazing legal mind and Jacqueline is the hardest working, most compassionate and effective paralegal I’ve ever seen. Through the hardest time in my life, this team diligently researched brand new CA law, fanatically and effectively applied the law and litigated it in trial for a resounding victory. Moreover, they invested personal capital, compassion and feelings into keeping my family together. I felt they cared just as much as I did in helping my family! Thank you is not enough. I could not give a higher recommendation to this firm and this team.

This has been an extremely draining ordeal! However, the actions of this law firm has greatly reduced the amount of strain this divorce has caused. Going through a custody battle is hard and also divorce. I thank the firm for always having my back and telling me the hard truth from the start. I had a consult with Mr. Matthew Palmer he laid It all out for me the Good, the bad and the ugly. He told me from the start It would be hard only due to me telling him my story. I got assigned a great paralegal that I highly would recommend to anyone Jacqueline Knecht, she was my go to with everything and understood where I was coming from as a mother, marine and over all as a person. She would always respond right away if I had an issue even during the weekend she would check the email regularly. Jacquilene was always spot on with everything and would word everything perfectly during my whole case. She never missed anything, She would break things down for me so I could understand It a lot better if that was over via email or the phone. She made it easy for me to feel comfortable and at ease during my whole case especially when I was at the edge of wanting to give up. She would always give me the saying "don't worry until we tell you to worry". During this whole pandemic, marine corp order changing and me transition out of the marine corps. She helped me a lot, She's honeslty a great person and is amazing at her job espically when its time for a hearing she will get everything ready to go. When it was my Trial day she made sure my stuff was perfect not just on that day, but every time she made sure I was satisfied. She would redo the parts I didn't want and add few things I wanted and would word it perfectly. She didn't just redo it once and call it a day, but she would do it until I was happy with the result. I would highly recommend her as peralegal to anyone and also the firm. From the time I walked into that office I felt welcomed, the energy in that place just made you feel like family and took good care of me until the end of my case.
When I say the whole firm took care of me I truly mean that. I had the pleasure to have Matthew Palmer, Richard Manwaring and Layla Zad all represent me during my whole custody case at one point.
Layla was the one who represented me during my trial, she made feel confident and honeslty calm my nerves and stress. I retained Layla to assist me with a post judgment custody case. Not only did she explain everything to me in a way I could understand she kept my costs down by running every possible scenario by me and giving me an estimate of the fees. I felt like I was in control of my case while receiving competent counsel and representation.

I consulted with Attorney Manwaring who was very knowledgeable. Although it was a simple motion, or so I thought, he kept his composure at all times and protected my position always. He never let the other attorney impact his professionalism despite the efforts made by the other party and even his attorney.
