Palo Alto Creamery reviews
18I love this place! They make the best pies and have exceptional customer service. Yesterday, I went to purchase pies for Thanksgiving and bc I was on a time crunch and couldn't wait for the new batch of pies to be made, I left disappointed. Much to my surprise, the owner, Robert followed me out and offered the option for me to pick-up the pies after business hours. If I could have hugged him out of sheer gratitude, I would have, but with COVID - I didn't want to scare him. Hehe. I highly recommend this spot for families, and if you're dining alone, you will surely not be disappointed! The food is yummy!?
Breakfast was pretty bland. I ordered Pancake and bacon and other half ordered egg omelette. Nothing special. Good coffee and service. Food was pretty pricey though for what we ordered, but hey what's not nowadays!
Great brunch place with a very original diner vibe. Wait was not long and the food comes out fresh and the waiters are very attentive.
Arrived in town after a 2 1/2 hour drive and wanted a quality breakfast, nothing fast food oriented. I saw a lot of customers at this place so I gave it a try. The service I received was excellent from start to finish and I really enjoyed the friendliness and helpfulness of all of the employees I interacted with. The food quantity was more than enough for a single plate breakfast and every bite of my sausage and egg plate with fresh cut vegetables and thick toast was above and beyond the word tasty. The fresh orange juice was great too. Will visit this location the next time I'm in the area so I can try out the variety of dishes served here. I saw milk shakes on the menu but didn't have enough room this visit to have one.
Solid spot for a spicy chicken sandwich!
I surprisingly had never gone when I worked in the City but that probably worked out for the better.
Their Happier meal was recommended on Yelp so I gave it a shot & was pleased to see that along with the curly fries & souvenir koozie that came with my spicy bird, a refreshing Guinness draught stout can was what ultimately hit the spot!
This is a rough rating. It could have been a 3 but I would say one of our two desserts wasn’t worth it. The key lime pie was very good but the chocolate bread pudding cake (or whatever it was) wasn’t worth it. The service was a bit slow for just dessert and the server didn’t seem knowledgeable/wasn’t very helpful with selections but I think she was trying to stay neutral. I would consider going back for the key lime; I guess I’ll have to see if there are better alternatives.
Love this place, it's got good food and great bakery.it's a must when I go up.it's not cheap.
Reliable local diner, menu hasn't changed much in 50 years which is exactly as it should be. Not cheap though, $60 for lunch for two without alcohol. The shakes and pies are the best.
I feel like we were overcharged for the quality and the quantity of food that we received. I ordered half a sandwich and a cup of soup and paid almost $15 for a tiny sandwich with burnt bread, burnt bacon, soggy tomato and the soup came in a small coffee mug. $10 milkshake came in a small water glass instead of the traditional soda glass. All in all, the food wasn't great and our bill was almost $80 for 3 people. We left hungry and disappointed. I don't know what happened but The Creamery isn't what it used to be. I'm very sad.
Had to wait 25-30 minutes for a simple breakfast order.
Food was pretty good, more or less what you expect at a diner.
Cafe space was a little too loud and packed for me.
Food is good.service is ok.but the portions of food are way to small for the price being paid.
I ordered a cheesesteak and the server brought out a portion of a friggin hot dog bun.like, that is not a cheesesteak by any means.
Portions are too small and the food is over priced.
Gotta do better folks.
Have a great day if your reading this post.
Breakfast was great, nice healthy portions. Their bakery is fantastic! Took some goodies home.
I love how sweet and jolly yes jolly the people here are! Second time here and it's always such a vibe.
The mocha chip shake is amazing with an old school dining experience! A little pricey though
Great staff hustling on a busy evening. Really nice. Food delivered quickly. Always need a "magic bar" to take home. Love this place!
The food was really good, I had the hash brown pie and two eggs with fresh squeezed orange juice. It was really good:) And service was good too. It is a bit pricey but it was good.
This has been one of my favorite places. It's on University avenue in downtown Palo Alto. A very quaint area. The menu and desserts are fabulous. They have an outside dining area as well as indoors. Service is excellent. The prices are right.
We ordered 3 philly cheese steaks. The quality was terrible. For $17.5 cheese steak you feel like you are having only bread with a very small amount of meat. It is not worth it at all. We also explained this to the manager and he said “it is what it is”. It’s a shame talking like this to costumers! The service also is not what you expect at all!
