My three and six year-old grandgirls were completely absorbed with the interactive activities for a solid two hours. We dis a pretty brief tour of the outside area bec if high winds. Animals were also hunkering down.

This newly renovated kids' museum is a very popular and fun place for kids. It's small zoo also provides a good learning experience. My grandsons live to go there every time.

Spent two hours there with kids. Zoo is small with few animals.there is water filling station inside and outside too.
Indoor area is not too big but lots of stations and activities to do for kids.there is a big playground on the back of it.
Buy tickets online and there is also street parking on both sides.

The little zoo is very cute. But one of the staff is a typical Karen. She couldn’t be nicer to kids…other younger staff are ok.

This is a very nice and cute little indoor museum plus zoo and very age appropriate for toddlers/preschoolers between 2 to 5.

We first time visited this place and thought it might be too small for a museum or zoo but kid loved it! My daughter just could spend the whole morning to play with different toys or gadgets in the museum. And to be honest, this place could save parent tons of efforts to find good activities for toddlers and drain their energies. Kids could also easily find friends to play with in this small space. The flamingo feeding session is also very welcomed by all the kids and every kid could get the chance to feed with just few minutes’ wait. Finally the tree house is fantastic. My kid loved to play on it every time and again very age appropriate and fun to play with.

The location is also very closed to children’s library and playground. So if you want to spend whole day here, definitely a bunch of good places to go without need to move the car. The parking is limited so do come early in the morning to get one.

Really cute place with a small indoor place with science activities, a cozy outdoor zoo area with some animals and a play area. We especially loved feeding the flamingoes. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. Overall, a great place for kids especially under the age of 6.

Although this is small as far as acreage goes, this is by far the best children's museum that I have ever been to. First the outside, we were able to see, really see the meerkats. When it was time to feed the flamingos, the staff made sure that everyone had the opportunity to participate. There's a wonderful rope treehouse for the kids, and a few of us adults and a nice little aquarium that you can find tucked away in a "cave". My grandson decided he was going to live in a wonderful hollowed out "tree" and the only reason he decided to leave his new home was in order to explore all the things to do inside. There's a variety of activities that the kids can do on their own, and each one seemed to entice every child there. We spent some time sending golf balls through a maze by turning a wheel, building with magnetic and non-magnetic blocks and seeing how a plastic ball will hover when caught in an airstream.

It's a must visit place if you have a young child. You won't regret a single, minute spent there.

This is good small museum for kids from 2 to 6 years. I don't think older kids will last too long in the museum, not much for them to do. Sometimes, it got little crowded in late afternoon.

A fun experience for the little one. It's quite small though, 2 hours should suffice to visit every enclosure.

I am a member and had come here more than 10 times. My kids love the place and especially the activity in the zoo section. Such as feeding flamingo etc

Went there on a rainy day when it was pouring rain, so entire time there was indoors. There a couple of reptiles and bugs in a room and few hands on things in the main hall. Masks are required at this time. A good place to take young kids out to drain their batteries.

Great little place to take a young child. Really cool outdoor climbing structure as well. I took my four year old here and it had great activities for his age.

The perfect place to take our kids, it is a small place, but it has a small zoo, a lots of small playgrounds made of wood.

Perfect place to take a toddler or preschooler. Everything indoors is hands-on with lots of ball activities. There are a few animals and play areas. It's small and calm and inexpensive ($10 each). Masks are still enforced nearly 3 years into the pandemic and no eating allowed, tickets required in advance, plenty of parking in the lot, bathrooms with child accommodations. We stayed nearly 3 hours and could've stayed longer if we had time.

Great museum and zoo for Palo Alto residents. It can get pretty busy though and the space is relatively small. The museum has alot of interactive activities for kids of all ages. So it works for small children less than a year and older kids up to 10 years.
