Palo Mesa Pizza, Arroyo Grande CA

Do not order online through their website. Nowhere does it say the order is going to be delivered by a Door Dash driver, so then…when part of your order is not delivered, you will not be given a refund and be told by the restaurant, “Sorry, the Door Dash driver forgot to grab it, we don’t deal with that, you’ll have to go through Door Dash. ” …How exactly? I have a receipt for the actual restaurant and did not order through Door Dash.

Oh, and here’s a photo of the moldy tiramisu we (eventually) got. Both pieces we received were like this.

They are good and I look forward to having a meal from here. I usually eat the salad or calzone and the kids love the pizza.

Arrived for vacation in the pismo area and this was the nearest pizza joint. Loved the pizza variety available. Does bot hurt to try something new, toppings that is.

This place came highly recommended by a friend and we will never return! We ordered wings and the sauce was on the side and the wings were extremely soggy. The pizza dough was practically raw and mushrooms weren’t even cooked. We asked to eat there and got our stuff in to go boxes. When my husband took a bit of his pizza there were wood particles and when he told the guy he didn’t even care. We weren’t asking for anything free but maybe a let me make you a new one. Nothing! Dead stare. This review in hopes the owner sees this and teaches his employees how to cook a pizza.

Why? Would anyone change their toppings on a speciality pizza? We’ve been ordering a Taco Pizza regularly today though, the toppings changed. No, I didn’t bother to check the toppings on my regular pizza order-that’s on me I guess. But, either way we won’t be back to order that again or probably anything else. Not really impressed with anything else.

Ordered a pizza for pickup at 7: 50 pm - employee says it’ll be ready for pickup in 15 minutes- arrive at 8: 15 pm and the place is dark and closed while listed closing time is 9pm. LOL

Good pizza, but nothing to write home about. Extremely expensive. Got the Hot Hawaiian, as well as the bacon-wrapped jalapeno appetizer: the jalapenos with both were not spicy whatsoever. The latter was delicious flavor-wise, but somewhat disappointing because of limp, flabby bacon. I do appreciate the lunch special for $7, which offers a small pizza with two toppings!

Pizza was good, there is not problem there. However the restaurant looks neglected, dirty, and unkept. The soda machine was dirty, the floor where the pizza was made was dirty, the bathroom was dirty. The woman who was running the cash register seemed uninterested like she didn't want to be there. It looks like this pizza restaurant just gave up and doesn't have pride in there restaurant anymore. I'm talking about the Arroyo Grande Mesa location.

Good pizza. Not great but very good. Had a beer reasonably priced. Ate in, while most take out.

Staff was great and friendly. Owner came out and helped us choose a pizza. We got the mckalya. It was really good.
