Panda Express reviews
15Incredibly nice and attentive even when it was rush hour. They didn’t rush me into choosing my dishes and even when they are busy. Super clean even when there was people eating. Great and friendly got my fresh dish out immediately.
Ordered 2 Plates and kids meal. I got 1 plate that had 2 hairs in it from the cook or server, the other plate was half the original portion size. The kids meal had burnt rice. The spring rolls we got were crispy burnt. The sodas tasted like piss. It was my wifes first time in the US from Europe and panda express in yuba city really left a bad first impression. Never going there again. Marysville's panda express is wayyy better!
Ordered 2 bigger plates in drive through. My orange chicken was spicy and only 3 pieces. Rangoon were equally as cold and customer service sucked. The fat white manager was micro managing the staff and not the food she was obviously embezzling. Terrible experience, go anywhere else than this place.
The worst place to get my food… there were 6 employees and all of em were just talking…. I spend almost 40 minutes to get my cold chow mein all thanks to the girls
Thank you….
You might as well just drive thru. It takes forever to get your food if you walk in. Order after order of drive thru customers are being served. The Military discount is nothing more than a free fountain drink. The teriyaki chicken is fantastic! Everything else is just average.
Drive-through today to grab quick bite. Food wasn’t ready waitDriving parking number 3 35minutes Still waiting for my food while my break is over!
Yuba City site awesome. Marysville site allowing druggie beggars outside. I won't go where they don't care about their customers. I go to Yuba City site. They care. Marysville doesn't.
Final update: this restaurant is very inconsistent.they have periods of good service and mostly periods of bad service and I'm tired of it.they never get my order right anymore.you cannot trust the drive-thru at all.at all! So I go inside now to place an order and they screw that up too right in front of me. I'm not going back in here again. That's it, I'm tired of the hassle.quantity over quality.
Update 3 years later:
This Panda has dramatically improved in every respect so I have updated my review to reflect their improvements. I took a chance eating here again after another 2 years and was surprised at how good the food was and how they get my order right at the drive-thru without drama.since giving it a try again, I have returned many times in the last few months and I'm happy to say that it is excellent. I'm leaving my prior reviews here just to show how difficult it has been and how much they have improved which is a good thing.
Update: 1 year later:
This is the worst Panda I have ever had and I've been to many of them around the country. I went back today for the first time in a year and regret it. The food is terrible.they get a ton of business and all I can think is Yuba City residents are not discerning. Seriously this food is bad! The chow mein is not completely cooked so it's like half done ramen that doesn't even stir on your fork. The chicken has no flavor at all. The rice tastes like it was double fried. I absolutely will never go back to this restaurant again.
(Original)
Very poorly designed parking lot and drive thru with cross congestion, a pedestrian cross walk cutting across the drive, straight spots rather than angled, a horrible 90 degree angle in the drive thru that's dangerous for vehicle (and forget it if you have a big truck). It's hard to get in here, period. Barrier to entry = lost sales. I will have to think about whether I want to put up with these problems vs going to the Marysville location.
I got home and sat down to eat. Ordered a bowl with steamed rice, teriyaki chicken. The chicken meat is old, gamey, not fresh or tender, have to bite hard. This restaurant needs to work out issues after opening. I will return in a month after they've gotten their processes sorted out. In comparison, the Marysville and Oroville restaurants are terrific, but this new Yuba City location needs improvement. I will revise my review as needed later on.
Was in their drive-through and they look to help one car or order at one time. Sat in line with out any help was asked to hold. So we waited 5 min as there was one car ahead of us in the pay window. Wasn't till that car left the line fully did they help us. Then I watched 4 cars behind us just sit and wait, no orders taken. They want their line wait times to be less so it helps them but obviously they don't care for their customers time. Try inside definitely would be faster.
The food is one super dry like if it was from the day before and two I found a hair A HAIR! I called several times to speak to a manager but no answer.
Food was excellent and fresh as always, service a little slow on one station tonight. Saw several happy families and overall a great meal!
My rice was burnt and the food tasted nasty. They lady who helped us was rude and rushed us. I will not be returning.
Let me tell you what. I always ask for "A TON of soy sauce" when I come, and employees have given me anywhere from 2 (yeah, somehow that's "A TON") to 5 soy sauce packets. Never has anyone given me what I envision to be, "A TON" of soy sauce. But this last time I came in the lady in the drive thru window (I think her name was Stacey R) asked if there was anything else she could get me, I said, "A TON Of soy sauce, " and when I later checked how much she gave me, it was a WHOLE HANDFUL! A good 10-12 soy sauce packets and I was ecstatic. SHE truly understands what a customer wants when you ask for a lot, and she is a total homie for that one.
GREEDY PORTIONS, UNSANITARY, I AM SHAMED OF THIS LOCATION. THE FOOD SMELLED CROSS CONTAMINATED WITH RAW MEATS. EVIL AND UNSANITARY!
Incredibly clean restaurant, high quality fresh food, and kind staff. Can't get better than that!
