Panda Express reviews
15It's a Panda Express in an airport. What can you expect? They do the job, have some seating, and are priced like an airport.
Food quality control and portions were perfect. Really enjoyed my meal, and couldn't have asked for better. Employees appeared dead inside though. Hopefully Gavin Newsome will stop ruining everyone's lives in CA before 2030. Note: all employees were still performing their jobs at a high level tho. No complaints about the service. Keep up the good work!
Plate: Fried rice, cho mien + honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken $15.82
Delicious! Honey Walnut Shrimp is so delicious
The people who work here should learn to smile and be a little bit friendly. I get it it's fast food not your favorite place to work but a little customer service goes a long way. Oh and the food sucks.
The most popular item on the menu — the orange chicken—is mostly just fried batter covered in the orange sauce. And the few pieces of chicken you do get taste more like fake chicken. Also ordered the chow mein and beef and broccoli all of which were not seasoned or salted at all. I’m glad I got a packet of hot sauce to add depth to the flavorless profile. Not worth the menu price of ~$16.
Slow and apathetic crew - no sense of urgency. Out of damn near everything on the line. They ran out of cash to make change for purchases with larger bills, but people weren't finding out until they waited forever in line; they ended up having to go elsewhere. This location is a case study in abhorrent failure of local management.
Shoutout to the workers manning the station on this busy Sunday evening. The line wrapped all the way to the Betcha from when I got there around 5p and only started dwindling around 8pm. The male and female staff at the counter serviced everyone and I could tell their shift started way earlier in the day. Appreciate their efforts.
Since I was standing in line to buy my food, I noticed the rude treatment of the man who served the food with the people who requested the product. When it was my turn, he treated me rudely, I rebuked him and in front of me I did not consume anything and I complained to the administrator. It's a shame that the customer service is so terrible and that they don't pay attention to these moody and rude workers. I run into a wall with this rude man.
Terrible experience by a such rude attendant. And the food at this airport is not the same, made me bad the inteire flight, so even if you love Panda Express like I Do, don’t go at this specific one.
The *manager* discouraged me from ordering a premium entree three or four times and was off-puttingly short with me from the second I ordered. The menu does not accurately reflect the prices and that's not a huge deal, but they will make that painfully unclear while still being weird about prices and extra-double premium add-on charges. Lady made me feel like I was trying to rob them for their dried out shrimp on a layover. I just ended up saying "I'm good" and walking away because I was embarrassed to be treated like that. Airports already suck, way to make it suck worse.
Fountain soda machine is sooo clapped out and they refuse to fix it. No ice, ever. Like three warm options available. No diet bottled beverages available. It's been this way for months.
It's conveniently situated near the gates, allowing for a swift meal. However, I quickly observed that the prices were somewhat higher than usual, and the menu options were different from what I expected.
Opting for a bowl with chow mein and the chef's special, I noticed an additional charge for the Chili Crisp Shrimp. While the chow mein was satisfying, the chili crisp shrimp left much to be desired, and I wouldn't recommend it. Moreover, the total cost of $15.66, which included an extra $2.65 for the shrimp, felt somewhat steep for the portion size.
I didn't know about this Chinese fast food chain and it turned out to be a very good option for lunch during our transit hours at LAX Airport. Particularly this food fair where they are located in terminal 1 seemed to me the most pleasant among 1,2 and 3.
Absolutely awful portions, out of atleast half of their regular menu items when you walk up. Go literally anywhere else at the airport.
