Panda Garden, San Marcos CA

I did some work at this place. The staff began to yell and get in my face. Began chanting guillo. Or round eye. One guy got in myface over a cord. One guy had sandals on in the kitchen. I would never eat here due to the blatant racism, Nor Will I do work here again. Edit: I'm a master Tig welder. It had nothing to do with the tools. Your chef was telling me how to do my job. My height did not matter.

Amazing chinese food here in San Marcos! I had them cater a HUGE order for 130 people, and the process of ordering and pickup was so easy. Everyone LOVED the food, and kept asking where it's from. I really wish they would deliver party trays, as I think the surrounding schools and companies in the area would really utilize and benefit from it.

Went there for dinner and the food was so salty I had to send it back. I was told to specify next time I ordered to not make it salry. What happen to our favorite restaurant! New cook? Terrible!

Firstly, I normally do not go out of my way to give negative reviews. I only do so rarely and if I feel that there is a very good reason for it.

I DO want to say that the people there are very friendly. The manager/owner greeted me pleasantly and the waitresses were also very nice. Normally I go to Pan Asia Buffet off of Nordahl drive in front and to the left of Walmart. The food there is exquisite EVERY time! Ironically, the people there are not terribly friendly, but the food is absolutely excellent!

However, I was tired after working today, and my bank is in the same parking lot as Panda Garden (Citibank by Del Taco) I didn't feel like going all the way across town to the always dependable Pan Asia Buffet, so I thought that well since I am here, why not. I ordered the very simple honey spicy shrimp with a few added pieces of chicken. Both the shrimp and the chicken were SUPER tough and hard and I could honestly barely chew them.

I ate about 1/3 of my dinner and I just could NOT finish it. It was so awful, I didn't really want to take the rest of it home. I politely told the waitress, almost apologetically, that the food was just too tough and I couldn't finish it. Interestingly, NO apologies were given, NO comments, NOTHING. AND, to add insult to injury, even though I left about 2/3 of the food on the table, they still had the nerve to charge me full price WITHOUT ANY APOLOGY, COMMENT, NOTHING! So, I quietly paid the $20 or so for about 5 or 6 pieces of tough, almost inedible chicken and shrimp.

I see people go in there, and I guess they have their regulars. I can't imagine WHAT the hell they order, but what I had was truly atrocious AND I really did NOT appreciate that they made absolutely NO effort even to apologize or adjust the price, again, NOTHING! So, I felt that I really had to come here and leave this review.

I just simply will NEVER EVER go there again. I will make the drive across town to the Pan Asia Buffet, no matter HOW bloody tired I am, and for about the same price, maybe a few dollars more, I can have an absolutely LOVELY dinner with delicious food and a HUGE variety (I most highly recommend the teriyaki chicken, it is to frigg'n DIE for!)

VERY disappointed. This is the first time I’ve ever posted anything- it was that bad. Read all the good reviews and was excited for some good Chinese food. Something had to be wrong with the cook today based on what I read. Sweet and sour chicken was extremely dry and pretty much inedible. Pork fried rice had a strange taste and after taste. Won ton soup was very bland. The fortune cookies were even stale! And the worst for me were the egg rolls. They were more like spring rolls and ‘mushy’ inside. I was really looking forward to a good egg roll!

Lunch on a Monday at 1: 30. The restaurant is clean and service is very good. Unfortunately the food seemed to have been sitting at the bottom of a pot over 4 hours, not fresh, a little over cooked. Not tasty.

I would definitely recommend the food at Panda Garden. I love the walnut shrimp and Beijing beef. The food is delicious. If you are searching for awesome Chinese food, you will LOVE Panda Garden. Delicious dishes made to order. I will never step foot in a Chins again. Friendly staff and if you don't feel like dining in, order the food to go. Either way you will love this place. Thank you Panda Garden, keep doing what you do best!

Spring roll eh. Not tasty. Green curry fair. Tom kha soup ugh poor flavor. Rice dumped on aluminum foil in styrofoam container. Was cold, hard, and dry.

Just discovered this wonderful little restaurant. Hard to find good Chinese food. This is fresh, not greasy, they slice the chicken and beef thin which I like and cook it well. Vegetables cooked correctly. Very tasty across the menu. Great lunch special.

This spot is a hidden gem. I want to keep it a secret, but the people who run Panda Garden are so nice that I want them to get tons of business too. So tell everybody you know:) The food is fresh, delicious & always served with kind smiles.

Just a wonderful place! The inside is so nice and it is a relaxing and fun environment. The food is amazing and the staff is so attentive and kind! 10/10 would recommend

Lovely little place we’ve been a few times. I really love their soups, especially the seafood mix. Better half loves their orange chicken.

Quick service, decent prices. Most of the food was very authentic and tasty. The twice cooked noodles were also very good, however used a much thicker noodle type.

Use to love there coconut shrimp an rice noodles everything was cold no coconut flavor tempura vegetable soggy rice noodles no spicy ribs cold but very nice staff I was just disappointed because I went when store opens wonton soup and egg drop great everything else not good

You're food is delish. We love that you're food is not super sweet like most places. Please keep it that way s'il vous plait, mis hermanos.

Talk about finding a gem, this place serves some delicious Chinese food. All of the dishes are cooked to perfection. Friendly, attentive staff, clean dining room and fast service. Give this place a try and you won't regret it.

This place is a gem hidden in a CVS parking lot. The staff is always friendly and willing to customize any order to your liking. You can tell the food is cooked per order and for me at least always good. Don't forget to order the hot tea before your meal.
