Pangaea Restaurant and Wine Bar reviews
20Would definitely recommend trying out this place. Exceptional atmosphere, delicious food, fantastic service. Keep it up.
This restaurant is my favorite. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The team is very amicable and the cooking they cook is so fresh and tasty. I never decline to have a good dinner in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.
The Pangaea Restaurant and Wine Bar is an intimate, middle-eastern restaurant named for a lost continent.
Serving both Italian and Greek specialities, this warm and comfortable eatery feels more like Grandma's dining room then a restaurant.
Chris, our friendly, knowledgeable server, memorized the orders of our table of ten, including their individual requests.
The nine meat eaters first enjoyed an appetizer of flaming saganaki. Oopa!
A little later our meals arrived. Unbelievably, they were as ordered. My family and friends, who's orders included salmon, chicken and beef, said they enjoyed their Mediterranean dishes.
Let me tell you about my meal: a vegan vegetable plate. The serving is large and included a green salad with an oil and vinegar dressing. Slices of tomatoes, cucumbers, and kalamata olives, decorate the salad. Soft and fluffy white rice sets the background for a half dozen flat falafels. (The falafels are cooked flat on the fry table to keep them separated from the deep fryer's oil that is used to cook animal proteins.) Flat falafels are terrific. The granules of chickpeas had a rich flavor and stood up to my bite gracefully.
Now if Chris could use his incredible mental talents and remember where to find that lost continent.
Their food is sooo good, and I wish it was in a more open place so they could get more customers!
This is a great little restaurant that's hidden away in plain sight. Excellent atmosphere, and wonderful mediterranean style food. I think you'll pay about 5 or $7 per person more than you might have thought for entrees and drinks, but the atmosphere, quality of the food, and friendly service really makes this place stand out. You're going to love it.
This place is worth a try. They have big portions for reasonable rates. Consistently well kept and with fantastic vibes. I highly recommend this place.
Their food was fantastic. They make their own sauces. I had the Chicken Alfredo and my husband had the Salmon Special. There was so much flavor and our server was so helpful. Loved every bite of our food, the conversation and the atmosphere.
This restaurant came highly recommended and I can see why. There are about 12 tables and the food is all made upon ordering, so expect a little more time while your food is prepped (it really wasn't that long at all). Came for lunch with my Aunt and Uncle ad it was delightfully quiet so that we were able to have a conver7without yelling over other people and/or music. The chicken skewers plate and Greek Village salad with chicken were perfect. The chicken was wonderfully seasoned and so moist! If you'd like a scrumptious and quiet meal, check it out!
The food was heavenly. We moved to California 3 years ago and have been looking for a good Greek restaurant well we finally found it. The baklava is excellent as well.
We had excellent food at Pangaea. From Lamb Souvlaki to the Shrimp and their Chicken Jerusalem. The ambiance and the service were fantastic. It’s a family run business and you’ve got to try it.
Excellent food, great service. Loved the art, the atmosphere, the prices and the service. Some of the best spaghetti sauce and meatballs I've ever had.
Best kept secret in the valley. First time I had the lamb, I enjoyed it so much I actually had a tear in my eye! Simply amazing.
This place was great. The food portions are huge and really good. I had the italiano and I really liked it.
Awesome restaurant and staff. Great selection of Greek and Italian food. Very good and and wine selection. Family owned and operated with care.
Awesome Asian Seafood buffet that has tons of options! I think it is really fairly priced it was $12 for the lunch buffet. They had salmon sashimi, sushi rolls, soup, salad, and SO MUCH MORE!
Perfection! Service wonderful, food was very authentic fresh. Very accommodating. We will be back.
This restaurant is a rare find. Authentic Greek dishes with the freshest, finest ingredients. It was interesting that the Italian offerings were every bit as good as the Greek. Lasagna was out of this world. Sampler plate is recommended. And what a pleasant surprise to be given a piece of the BEST baklava I’ve ever had at the end of our meal. Highly recommend this gem.
The food was delicious. Wine was expensive per glass. But, the atmosphere and food definitely made up for it! We will be going back again!
I came in on a very rainy night by accident and found a jewel! This restaurant was great. I had a Gyro and it was one of the BEST I have ever had. Very yummy with large portions and friendly service. The owner was there and very humble and generous. I really enjoyed Pangaea and can't wait to go back.
Wonderful customer service and amazing, fresh food! So delicious, can't wait to go back for more!
