Panvimarn Thai Cuisine reviews
36 We went in the late afternoon on a Saturday, and we had a nice early supper. No one greeted us when we came in, and eventually we seated ourselves. We probably caught them right during the shift change.
Even at its mild level, the seafood curry that I had was very very hot. It was full of interesting and wonderful seafood though. My wife had the special pad Thai and it was also very good. For dessert we had mango sticky rice, which was delightful.
First the restaurant was so decorated and contemporary, second the service was amazing and the last the food was delicious definitely the best Thai Food in the Town.
I love the food here. If you ever dine in have their lemon drop. It's amazing! I dont eat pork so I cant speak to that but the chicken, blackened fillet sole, beef, veggie, and noodle dishes have all been superb. I eat here regularly and have yet to be disappointed.
Great Service! Family friendly and the food was very tasty! Special thanks to the bartender for my birthday drink:) Fried banana ice cream dessert was especially DELICIOUS!
Food was good. Lots of flavor.
3 stars because everyone ordered at the same time I did and got their food. I'm still waiting for mine. Asked them to box it up because everyone is finishing their dinner. My first time here. It happens, I guess.
Good foods overall but they are taking a little bit longer to take our order. Probably they were busy at that moment but should not take that long. Papaya salad is so good with freshly veggie and shrimp. Will come back.
Really good food! Pad thai and nutty chicken is so good and it’s a good portion for the price.the interior is really pretty too i’d definitely come back
Favorite Thai place in the Long Beach area! Love the papaya salad. Great variety. Everyone enjoyed their dinners.
Ordered take out. We had the Ruby curry and the pad thai. Rice had to be ordered as a side dish, which seemed unusual when ordering curry. Food was tasty but portions were a bit smaller than expected.
I visit this place many times a year! This is my favorite spot to pass a nice evening. I go to this spot routinely. The cooking is very good, the team is professional and the prices are decent. I enjoy being in this restaurant over a decent dinner.
If I could give them 0 stars I would, after the experience we had. We made reservations at the Panvimarn located on Carson st.were we met another couple for dinner. We did get seated right away, but after that everything went down hill. We finally placed our order and during that time we had to ask several employees for refills on our drinks mind you after flagging someone down they only brought us one of the two drinks we ordered so of course needed to flag down someone else and let them know. Finally got our drinks. We order 7dishes we only received 3 expecting to receive the other 4 dishes. Our waitress was no where to be found. She came only twice to check on us once to see if we needed anything and that was when we said the rest of our food would be nice and 45 minutes later nothing no waitress still no food our other plates were cold now. We got to talking with our friends not realizing that it had been so long. Finally the waitress came over to ask if we were done mind you we had been there for 1hour and 45 minutes that’s when we explained we have been waiting for the rest of our food, her have turned white she quickly looked up our order and then realized that we were missing the rest of our dinner. We then asked to speak with a manager. Her reason why was the runners that bring the food brought them to another table. Our bill came to 90.00 with the drinks and only the 3 dishes. They only gave us 10.00 off our order and we never received the rest of our dinner. We were very disappointed in the service and how the manager did nothing to accommodate us for there mistakes.
This spot obviously knows how to treat their clients. Consistently with a welcoming mindset. The food is affordably priced, regularly delicious and clean.
Timothy was our party of 6 waiter. Always with a smile and so polite
The other ladies all commented on how nice was.
Only go to this restaurant if you are prepared to be dissappointed with every other Thai restaurant you try for the rest of your life! Great food and atmosphere.
Don't ask for substitutions, as apparently the "chef" will not accommodate them. Atmo is cool, didn't expect an upstairs seating. Fits small or large groups. A bar for solo dining. Pricing is aight. Pretty ok balance.
Crab fried rice. One of the best meals I've ever eaten. Great prices, excellent atmosphere, fantastic and friendly service.
The best WonTon soup in southern California. Always excellent flavors and the presentation is spot on. Must try.
I've had Thai food before, but this by far the best I ever had. The minute I walked into the restaurant, the smell of what would soon be in my mouth, overwhelmed my senses and made my mouth water. The staff was attentive but also gave us our space. I had the Mango margarita that was made with real mangos, and not overly sweet. However be caution how many you have, for it seems like something that will sneak up on you. Reservations are highly recommended.
I love eating here. The atmosphere is BEAUTIFUL and relaxing. The food is always delicious. This is one of my favorite lunch and dinner spots.
Delicious! But whatever you do don't ever ask for hot spicy. Mild is enough, trust me. Don't learn the hard way. Unless you want to cry in agony for the next 3 hours. You ever had food so spicy it literally feels hot? Like temperature wise? Yeah stay away
