Papa John's Pizza, Covina CA

This location is great if u want your pizze literally over 2.5 hours from when you order it.i would close this location asap its hurting the papa johns brand

I ordered two pepperoni pizza at 5: 35pm, was told 10-20 min. We left out house 20 min later, 10 min drive and when we got there the pizzas were not ready and we were told it would be another 25 min as they were super busy. Also told that our pizzas were free. We left our house 30 min later again plus the drive. My daughter went inside and she stood there for 3 minutes before she was even acknowledged. To make matters worse she was told it would be another 10 min. No apology, no explanation, nothing. I understand that the place was busy but someone should take responsibility in teaching the two employees basic customer service. Very disappointing experience. Cancelled our order and will not be returning to that Papa John’s.

I love the pizza and food but horrible service. Today for the second time received a very late order. I should have cancelled it. I placed an ordered at 7: 20pm and didn't receive it till 8: 54pm.they compensate me by giving me more food I didn't need instead of receiving a discount on my original order. Won't be ordering again from this location.

I tried to get ahold of them 16 times for an existing order and nobody answered. 16 times! Over the course of 30 minutes!

Ordered a pizza from here on Uber Eats, the driver had to wait a long period of time, I ordered the pizza about and hour and a half ago, and now I’ve had 2 drivers try and pick the food up.

Had to update my review of this spot. The staff has improved & management has changed. Well, I think it has. The kids working there are always polite & have good customer service.

I called in my order on the phone a simple medium pepperoni pizza. I asked
the person who answered
the phone if it was in the
Plaza shopping center next
to Big Lots. They confirmed yes that is where they were located. My friend and I waited in the car for 30 minutes, as they told us that's how long it would
Be. 30 minutes were up,
I went into pay for my
pizza, told them the name and the guy behind the counter said I am sorry
But you never called in an order. I double checked my cell to make sure the number was correct and showed the guy behind the counter my recent call to their location.

The guy was rude, and without saying a word
turned around and walked away. I said Excuse me,
this is the right location I verified it on my phone.
I wanted to speak with the
Person in charge, but was
told he was. I wasn't going
to argue. I had a tough day.
I saud its unacceptable
And simply told him "this used to be such a goid place for pizza and the customer service used to be top notch.
Too bad it no longer is. "
then I turned and walked out. I will never order from them again at that location.

The manager here is a legend! Our order was wrong, but he went above and beyond to fix it. Thank you!

Only one guy working, have to wait 45 extra minutes when they told me is going to be ready in 20 minutes. One guy can't do it all.

You need more help only 1 person by themselves working on a Sunday. The gentleman is very nice he's trying his hardest.

Hours show they are open till 10pm. Take it until 940pm. I order pizza for pickup at 9pm they told me out would be ready in 15 minutes. I start driving over to pick up and at 910pm, 10 minutes later, I got a call back and an employee tells me they can't make it before they are done with take out and cancelled my order. It was to be ready at 915pm and they do take it till 940pm. Didn't make sense and I was already pulling up to the store when they called me to cancel my order at 910pm but the pizza was suppose to be ready at 915pm. Horrible customer service. They just didn't want to work anymore. If your advertisement is you do takeout until 940pm then do what your advertisement says.

Well here we go again. Just made an order for delivery everything ready to go and got the conformation and everything. Then 10 minutes later they can me up don't they don't deliver to me. And I'm literally a block away. This place is ridiculous.

The guy I ordered from was great I loved the way he thought of everything with being peaty. Pizza was ready hot and tasted great, will go back again. Loved the service.

Bought a cheese steak pizza almost no meat on it at all or any toppings for that matter way over priced will never go back again

They won't take your delivery order if they don't feel like it and purposely hang up on you. When you try to call back they won't answer. I called at 9: 30pm on a Saturday night. Be wary if you call for a delivery they seem helpful and may take your money without delivering your food.

More expensive, rude, and they charge for red peppers. _.
People think they make more by charging for every little thing but I will now go to Glendora

Yesterday I ordered pizza and I like extra sauce for my pizza. So per my order request that I did through the app, I requested extra sauce on both pizzas. When I got home both pizzas were dry and had hardly ANY sauce on them! The jalapeño poppers with cream cheese, no cream cheese just pure jalapeños! This was my last time going to papa Johns, I wanted to give it another try since it’s under a new owner/ management. But it’s a no for me.

The new owner has turned this papa johns around. We get a pizza with no cheese all veggies and they make it phenomenal everytime. This pizza in covina is great and fast they even have awesome carryout specials.
