Expensive: definitely not one $. Decent but small selection of pastries. They don't sell many of the traditional Armenian savory baked goods. Probably worth trying one of the many other options in Glendale for more authentic and reasonably priced bakeries.

Ajarakan was way off bread was under cooked also some African american guy came out the kitchen seemed like he was the cook and went got bottle water from fridges and went back to the kitchen by the way he was itching and scratching his afro seemed lime he had fleas in his hair. Hire Georgian chef if you want run the place right. I will not order from here again. It looked like the guy put custer cream in the ajarakan something strange here. Also boxes are wrong you cant even eat them in their boxes, you have transfer them to another big plate. Also way to expensive over priced. Ohh no utensils nor napkins were given. They also gave there sour pepper powder which is wrong with ajarakan

The ponchiks here are very good. However, your advanced-placed and paid for order will never be ready on time or made correct to order.

Ordered Nutella ponchiks from here and when I got home I realized they were all custard. Nobody eats custard in my household and it was too close to closing so I couldn’t go back. I called but was put on hold for 15 minutes and nobody ended up answering. Workers here are clearly on acid or something. Very frustrating and won’t be back to this location.

If I want perashki with meat and potatoes I come here. The best delicious perashkies here. Already 3 years I often come here with my friends, or ordered pershaki from here️️️

Bread was under cooked and very stale. Wouldn’t not recommend…especially for the price. The panaderias (Mexican bread) are much better especially with a nice juice. This place is overpriced and overhyped and a bit dirty

This place is so rude I placed an order on Ubereats came in to pick it up and the girls were in the back gossiping. After about 5 minutes one woman finally came out because the phone was ringing she literally picked the phone up and hung it up! I was so shocked…. She then asked me for the name on the order I gave her the name and she turned around and said okay which one…. And I repeated my named once again she rolled her eyes at me then tried to charge me for my food. I kindly let her know I already paid that Uber eats will not let you place an order unless you pay for it first. She argued with me for 15 minutes then finally gave me my food. Go to Arts bakery down the street better food and service the girls aren’t in the back gossiping.

First time coming to this place. Worker was very friendly and helpful. Pastry is very delicious would recommend

This place is so good. The owner I believe he’s the owner is super friendly. They are Armenian pastries. So delicious and fresh upon order. He recommended the limited Ferraro roche doughnut it’s so delicious their empanada is so good and fresh. I am coming back when I’m in the area and it’s a must you have to come check them out

Bakery with a wide diversity of offerings. Their ponchiks were actually amazing. Many of their items are made to order, so when you get them, they are warm, soft, and ephemeral. They have many different flavors for both churros and ponchiks, and every one I tried was great (though the apricot filling was the best in my opinion).

Our first time here, we tried basically one of everything. Our favorites were the potato and mushroom perashkis. Followed by beef perashki, Nutella ponchik, and Armenian pizza which my gf loves because she’s Syrian. It has a very specific flavor, very different from American pizza so don’t expect anything similar. I really love Georgian khachapuri but was really let down by theirs. Traditionally, I think it’s made with a Georgian cheese but this one was made with some mozzarella and a TON of feta. Not what I expected and was looking forward to. We also grabbed a box of sugar cookies with powdered sugar on top - delicious! So buttery and soft, similar to shortbread cookies.

Everything is made to order so you can call ahead or just wait the 10-15 minutes it takes to prepare your order. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area.

Delicious, yummy first time trying them, and all my family loves them. We recommend all you guys to try them if you haven’t. Great service, i wish they had a bakery around my area.

I love the make ala minuit. Fresh and soft dough so great, my Napoleon was perfection tried couple more things that the name didn't stick real good. The staff was friendly lovely ladies, this is the second location I have visited and can't wait to go back, what I would recommend is opening one closer to me or in my town if possible

It was good different pastry, from American pastry. I like Armenian food, and Armenian people.they're very funny, intelligent, and rich!

A famous bakery for sweet and savory besides Portos. Meat pies, Armenian pizza and Armenian doughnuts. Sweet people too.
