The very best bakery. It doesn’t matter if you just want a loaf of Italian bread, fresh donuts, turnovers or Italian pastries, this place does not disappoint.

Their cinnamon rolls are delicious. Their butter rolls are wonderful-my son eats them by the dozen. Their donuts are very good. They have ready made cakes which are very good and they will write on them and they also make special order cakes.

Service was super fast and courteous. I feel like they have their system down. Someone takes the order and does drinks, someone does payments and someone grabs the food for you.

The cakes and cupcakes are delicious and the service is wonderful. They are very accommodating and worth the price. Great kids cakes! Good job guys!

Visiting from out of town, we decided to stop for coffee and pastries. I have never tried Armenian food before. I had the Potato perashkie and the raspberry ponchik. Both were fresh made, hot and delicious. The raspberry ponchik was the best ever. It puts a plain donut to shame. I wish we had one where I live. I took some for the road.

BEST CROISSANTS EVER.

Super small location, and the line is always out the door. It's worth the wait, mostly because it goes super fast. After all, they're just grabbing your coffee and pastries and sending you out.

Great choice of pastries and other baked goods! Recommend the Piroshki with potatoes and cabbage! The interior or the bakery is bright and well organized. Perfect!

They have many different flavors in addition to plain, like passion fruit, almond, chocolate, chocolate hazelnut. Croissants are only available on weekends! And if you're looking for a late night snack on the weekend!

Service was also super friendly and smiley, and I appreciate that so early in the morning. This place is legit. Will make sure that we always put this on our to do list when we visit Los Angeles!

I was very full from a full day exploring and eating my way around the area so I just got a slice of pumpkin loaf and the pumpkin kougn amann (don't ask me how to pronounce that and I probably spelled it wrong). My friend Charles P. Thompson thought the pumpkin loaf was the best he ever had.

Once we arrived I saw the line out the door and I thought the line was for the tea place next door but it was actually for Papillon International Bakery.

BANANA BREAD PUDDING I LOVE YOU!

I first tried Magnolia when I was in CA a few years ago, and since then, I've been wanting to have a taste of their banana bread pudding again.

I was so delighted when i found out there was a store in LA! The cupcakes are okay, but it was their bread pudding that won me over.it's light, vanilla-y creamy, had chunks of bananas, vanilla wafers. YUM!

For a person that doesn't eat a lot of dessert.i could eat their banana bread pudding ALL DAY LONG!

I visited the Hollywood Papillon Bakery because it was very close to my residence. I was off work and decided to give this place a try over going to food for less haha. It was quiet and empty when I arrived around 4pm. I was served rather quickly but afterwards it went downhill FOR ME. I waited patiently and I felt very awkward. If u follow their instagram there is a man whose name I dont know that usually showcases the pastries, happened to enter and began speaking Armenian to the staff who was serving me. The awkwardness was real! I was really expecting a greeting or an upsell because things were faux displayed rather than pre- baked. He continued to walk in and out disregarding a customer was there and I felt very upset. Once I was walking to my car, I seen that he was leaning on a white Bentley and later drove off.take it as u may.but at least my oreo churros were delightful.

All I'm saying is.guest service and upselling is key to having a recurring happy customer!

Thanks for reading!

I've been coming here for years and adore this place. I love how they've mixed up the items but always keep their originals. My favs are the carrot cake and fruit tarte. They never fail.

Excellent bakery store. A must stop every time I visit CA. In addition to delicious pastries, it's coffee and tea are also great.

Maria who works at the Hollywood location is amazing, her customer service is on point! I own a cafe near Joshua Tree and we are all about service and this woman takes pride in treating you like family.
I was interested in making a large wholesale order and she took time out of her schedule to get the job done. I should hire her at my locations.
