Paradise Biryani Pointe, Milpitas CA

One of the worst experiences. I go there they only had 2 items in the menu. I got chicken kebab, some of it was uncooked. So I felt I was eating raw chicken. Then there was no one around to talk to. I also almost choked on some of the spices. And I kept coughing for more than 10 mins and no one even offered to give me water. Very bad service and very bad food.

Based on the audience (= other guests) of the restaurant, the food seems to be very authentic.

I ordered Boneless Chicken Dum Biryani which was pretty spicy (= too spicy for most western people) in its default setting!

According to the waiter, the Boneless Chicken Dum Biryani is made with deep fried chicken which came as a (negative) surprise to me.

The prices are reasonable, although raised significantly recently (see menu modified with Sharpie).

Ordered biryani for the first time here to take out. The dining area looks decent. We ordered egg biryani, paneer biryani and mutton biryani. Not crazy spicy or bland like other places, just the right amount. They definitely hit the sweet spot at the spice level. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Looking forward to trying more of their menu. The only concern was the rude checkout person who didn't agree to split the bill, while we tried to pay. Hope the management addresses this.

The quality of the veg biryani is always different when we order. The lady recently working in the front is very rude. After waiting for 30-40 min also the biryani was cold and very much dry without masala. Feels like eating plain rice.

Unprofessional Manager with zero customer centricity. I had placed an ordered for Murg Tangdi and specifically instructed not to burn it. When I went over to the restaurant to pick it up, I was handed over a burnt Murg Tangdi. When I highlighted this to the lady in the front desk, she was kind enough to understand my concern and immediately felt sorry. Upon calling the manager I was shocked with the kind of response I received from him. He said that this is how Murg Tangdi (is burnt) and served. In case I like it then I take it else I leave it. What? Seriously? Is this how you guys respond to customers? I wonder if he keeps saying the other customers the same thing. Where would your business head if you carry such I don't care kind of an attitude? Selling ur food is not the only dam thing important in this world. You need to also know what customer service is. I doubt if this new manager is even qualified to be in that position. So unprofessional and uneducated person's mindset he has. The lady at the front desk was far better in understanding and providing appropriate response. Can someone teach this guy manners especially on how to deal such type of situations? Shiva was better of as a manager. God save Paradise Biryani Pointe at Milpitas.

Almost seemed like the restaurant ppl wanted to just send out the chicken biryani dish before it goes bad completely! Ugh! The meat was literally smelling and tasted like it was almost gotten bad. This restaurant might only sell fresh meat over weekends and not all the time. Disappointed and frustrated that I wasted money. Never again!

Did a take out. Real quick service. Called on phone and ordered. The food was ready in 10-15 mins after placing the order.

Ordered veg Dum Biriyani and Gobhi 65. Good quantity. Good taste. Not the best Gobhi 65 but still would definitely order again. Great Veg biriyani. Rice grains were really well cooked

Great biryani place! Chicken dum biryani is one of our favorites. It is very flavorful and you could specify the spice levels. Among appetizers gobi 65 was good too. The service is quick. Unfortunately they don't serve tea. Salted lassi was good.

Liked the food that was bought. Spice level was on point for an Indian stand point but for other folks you might want to mention it as to how much spicy you would like it. Quantity to price ratio was good. Would definitely recommend to try it.

We paid for butter chicken and got close to half of a serving in a small container. I understand that inflation is running high and the price of this dish is now $13 but that doesn’t mean you need to give smaller container sizes with half the quantity. The food is incredibly tasty but If you're looking for a decent serving size, I do not recommend this place.

We tried goat and boneless chicken biryani here 4-5 times in the past 3 weeks. And the taste was consistent and good. Goat was at medium spice and boneless and lil bit more spicy, though we asked for medium and this stayed the same always.
I love how consistent they are with the taste.

I like the large portions sizes here. One order of Boneless Chicken Biryani is good enough for 2 people.

The order came out timely as well. I placed an order for 12: 00 PM and it was available just before 12: 00 PM.

The interior was well-decorated and spacious. I would want to come back to test the dine-in.

Great Hyderabad dum briyani!

We went here for dinner on a Friday night, the place was busy, we didn’t have to wait though.

It took a while for someone to come and take order. However, the food came fast. We tried Paneer briyani and goat briyani. Loved them both! We could tell the freshness of briyani. Goat pieces in the briyani were well cooked, tender and flavorful.
Tried their cut mirchi and chicken haleem too. They were good, however, briyani was my favorite amongst all.

Will definitely go back for quenching briyani cravings!

I would eat every meal of my life here if I could. They have the best paneer biryani in the world, even better than the ones in Hyderabad. Amazing staff and most delicious biryani. Their gobi manchurian is also very close to what you eat in India. Great paneer tikka masala curry too. Always consistent taste and great and friendly staff too

This happened twice to me, I ordered garlic naan and bought some sort of what ever they call it. I took pain to drive back to them, the staff is super adamant saying this is what you're gonna get. Very much disappointed with the response and arrogance of the staff. Spoiling the name of paradise chain. Inefficient and worthless staff. Doesn't know how to behave with customers

Biryanis are good …. That’s it.ordered chilly chicken… only the god and chef should knows what green and red peppers along with spring onions are doing in the dish. Also isn’t the chilly chicken a dry item? Why is it super soggy then. Please make sure the recipes are updated and maintained.

We ordered chicken biryani and Malai kofta curry. Kofta curry was very sweet and biryani was not that tasty and i think they give old biryani for pickup orders, because the egg served with the biryani tasted like the boiled egg which was kept in refrigerator and then given. Even the chicken was stale. If you're having the food from the restaurant itself then they give hot food otherwise they give old frozen reheated food.

Goat biryani meat was under cooked. Rude customer service incase of any complaints about food quality. They simple asked me to buy food from other store.
This is not expected behavior from prestigious store like Paradise. Shouldn't customer complain about the food? Unprofessional behavior.

I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to the food because one of my passengers told me to go there because I wanted some Indian food, however upon arrival.while people were dining I was told the kitchen was closed which is very strange especially because it says that they're open till 10. I've never felt less welcome in a restaurant! I live in Sacramento and attempted to go to the location in San Jose picture just to make sure that the correct one is posted!
