8Paragon BJJ is THE spot (spots?) to roll in SLO. Stopped in on a business trip for their open mat and they have a phenomenal crew and great facility.

Mallory and Chris have built an amazing culture to train BJJ in. The gym matches the area in being as hard core or laid back as the individual wants to be. Having visited many other gyms I feel lucky to live by my favorite place to train.
This a great place to train everyone is very nice and respectful I enjoyed my visit I look forward to the next time I'm in slo for work.
Dropped in while visiting the area, amazing gym! Clear, friendly, and informative technical instructors. Great culture in the gym, everyone was so kind, welcoming, and friendly. The mat space is large and clean.
Overall everything I look for in a Jiu Jitsu gym and one of the best visitor experiences I’ve had; would definitely train here if I lived in the area.
I have just started attending classes with finishing my second one today. Everyone seems extremely friendly and happy to accept someone like myself with zero experience. I would highly recommend anyone looking to try it out attend a class here to see the environment.
