Parc One, Santee CA

Despite it’s pretty appearance, decent floor plan and features I will not recommend this complex.

It is not a good environment for families, professionals, or those who want to live life being able to make noise.

It feels very uncomfortable. The walls are very thin and it echos outside. Tenants here are not quiet late into the night… and you honestly can’t make any noise without being listened to either, even during the day.

I’ve heard a mother nock on a door across the hall to inform the tenant, “there are children downstairs! ”

Trying to sleep, I’ve listened to drunk people hollering and vomiting outside.

I’ve listened to arguments between tenants. I’ve listened to other tenants TV shows.
I’ve listened to similar complaints from other tenants.

And everything else in between.

Please enforce the curfew for sleeps sake!

Lived here for 1 year, moved when we bought a house. The location is what makes this place awesome. You can walk to everything- shopping/restaurants/parks/trails/trolley. The apartments are nice and modern. We had a 1br. It had a washer/dryer in its own closet we were also able to use as a pantry/extra storage. The bedroom was on the smaller side, but that was okay. The living room has really nice almost floor to ceiling windows with great views. Also like how the building is well constructed, no issues with hearing footsteps above you or hearing neighbors talking/tv next door. They also have a little dog park which our pooch loved. Great place to live.

If you like things being fixed on time don't live here. If you have a severe medical problem and need to smoke for it. Also don't live here. The walls and ceilings are paper thin and cheap. You'll hear every footstep from the apartment above you. For Cali getting so expensive, services are getting worse instead of better

This place is terrible. I'm pretty sure half this place serves as housing for the christian college around the corner. Which would be fine if they didn't treat it like it was dorms. There were constant issues with noise after hours. The so-called security (which is third party and not even on site) takes forever to do anything, if they even do. We constantly heard our neighbors above us that also liked to party and make a bunch of noise after hours. We complained every time but nothing worked to help fix it. Parking is a hassle and the spots are super narrow. Visitor parking is even worse and very limited. The utilities are insanely over priced. Between water, sewer, trash, and electricity, it came to about $300 extra a month. We hated living here and wanted out so bad we broke our lease. Then to top it off, the maintenance and cleaning charges after moving out are way more than they even collected for the deposit so we got slapped with another $500+ bill. This place is a scam.

Will tow your care regardless of having a valid parking permit. Has towed my car twice now, despite this, their number does not work to get into contact with anyone outside of office hours, they claim to be open on Saturday but are not. They will give you the run around on everything and will not claim responsibility. Towed friends vehicle from their assigned parking. They do not care.

I love my apartment! The community is clean, I am unable to hear my neighbors, and any maintenance requests have been quickly addressed. Visitor parking seems to be well enforced as well, ensuring we have parking available when visitors come to see us, and residents are not taking these spots.

I have lived at Parcone for almost6 months. I love it here, work orders are are addressed and fixed immediately! The staff is very nice and friendly!

The view is amazing and the staff beyond exceptional. Its been a pleasure watching this complex blossom and grow with each passing day.

Edit: One year later.

My wife, roommate, and I are still loving this place and have gladly renewed our lease. While easily the most expensive complex in Santee, it has been well worth the cost in terms of views, locations, quality, and management.

The issues reported in other reviews here are *not* the fault of the management whom have been working with residents and police to resolve, but are issues faced practically anywhere along the San Diego river. Anyone assuming the issues are unique here are willfully blind. My experiences with the management have always been great with them listening to anything I have to offer and promptly addressing any issues I may have.

The management hosts seasonal events and fully catered parties free of charge to residents and their guests. The 24 hour gym is kept clean and stocked. Residents leave extra toys in the dog park for anyone who may want them as well as beach balls for the pool.

The landscaping has filled in beautifully now that it's had a year to grow. The community has only improved as its grown.

We are looking forward to this coming year and the years to follow.

Edit: Even more years later. We are still living here and still loving it.

Edit: Yet another year as we're still here loving every day of it. It's been amazing watching the the trees grow thicker and taller each year and now that they've finally settled on drought friendly astroturf in the central area, my only standing complaint has been resolved.

Now if only I can convince them to just straight up sell my my unit.
