Parikh Meghal V. M. D., Merced CA

My first appointment Dr. Parikh did the routine weight, blood pressure looked at my eyes, ears, listened to my heart and lungs. He asked how long it took me to get up in the morning but nothing else. Sent me for bloodwork. I had my appointment and he still didn't ask me any questions about my symptoms. Tells me my ana screen is positive but none of the other tests were positive. When I proceeded to ask him well what could my constant pain be he concluded with possibly chronic pain or possibly fibromyalgia. I wanted to see if there was a way to diagnose he said no that there is no magic pill he could give me. I told him I did not want any pills just an explanation. He said to lose weight and start an exercise regimen of tai chi or yoga or swimming and sent me on my way with no other tests or appointments. He made me feel like I did not matter like he did not care about me at all as a patient or had any interest in helping me at all. Please do not waste your time at this office and seek another specialist.

I had a excellent experience in this office. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr Parikh is very knowledgeable and ran a lot of different lab work. He was able to diagnose me with the autoimmune disease that I have. I have been suffering for a long while and never had the correct diagnosis. He put me on the right meds and after a month I am much better.

Worst thing I've ever had in my life! Will I extend my comments (as soon as the anger I have passes) with this Doctor?
I had already read the negative comments of this Dr.and I thought they were exaggerations, well NO.

I will return to complete the description of what happened and why my anger.

Please save yourself from wasted appointments. This Dr dose not care about his patients anymore he has no compassion. He should retire if you don't care about helping the people who trust you for care step down.
