Paris Bakery Cafe

Paris bakery has been my favorite spot to swing by since childhood- either for the expansive, delightful menu or the cozy and bright atmosphere.staff are consistently lovely and the assortment of pastries and light meals taste refreshing and authentic!

If you are looking for a place with bread, croissants that taste as it does in France than this is the place to be. They leave out the sugar that others put in and have nice banquette and Parisiens with a real crust. And then they have so many other great bakes on sale. Not sure what they use for coffee beans yet the cappuccino tasted nice smooth and had a thick foam layer. Truly enjoyed this and would return when in the neighborhood.

The food here is awesome and delicious and yummy. I love their ham and cheese quiche and also their marbled cookies. I really like their breadsticks too. I recommend this resturant to anyone who likes pastries. So good!

These almond croissant is as good as when we were in Paris. So good. I came back here every morning that I stayed here.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! I came in with my daughter before we walked down to the waterfront. She loves all French food and was so excited to see all the options they had. Their staff were busy but one of them, Drew, helped my daughter pick out a dozen cookies and talked with her the entire time while we waited to check out and pay. He was so welcoming and kind and helped us with the whole process like an expert. The food was delicious and they had great coffee and great service! Wonderful place overall!

This location is my preferred choice over the other one. It offers a wider range of pastries and desserts to choose from. I enjoy the flaky and airy texture of croissants and similar treats. They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

I came in to pick up some cakes and pastries for myself and some guests I was expecting. The customer service is somewhat unorganised and the staff seem to wait on customers that they personally know instead of people who have been waiting their turn. I purchased an assortment of cakes and pastries and unfortunately some of them were not good. Some of the cakes were stale and obviously old. The pastries were overly sweet and unlike authentic French baked goods. I’m disappointed that a city like Monterey doesn’t have better bakeries available instead of this place selling old expired baked goods.

This down-to-earth cafe place has amazing baked goods and coffee. I love how local and simple this place is. Just a sip of black coffee over strawberry pastry already made my day here in Monterey. There are so many types of pastries that I need to try. Definitely come back again!

Away from the tourist traps. Nothing fancy but the bakery, the coffee and the staff is all great

I expected more. They just sell completely overpriced chocolate from a single brand here. Not more.

A great place for breakfast, if you like light, flaky croissants! My husband had the breakfast croissant, I had an almond croissant, which was so flavorful and not too sweet. We shared a gorgeous Pain au Chocolat. Yummy! I only wish they were open later so I could have tasted some of their pastries.

My partner and I got a ham and cheese croissant, and it was delicious. They'll heat it up for you if you ask. The desserts are decadent and the espresso is perfect.

We used to love coming to this place. Service was horrible. I thought the staff were rude and unpleasant. Poor customer service. Very disappointed.

Yummy Food. I love their Chicken Sandwiches, Éclairs, & other bakery goodies! A frequent spot for me when I am in the area (especially when doing bank stuff haha)
