I've eaten here 5 times, lunch only. Terrific food, great service. The decor is 50's retro. The sole amandine is easily the best in Orange County. Skirt steak salad, delicious. Great veggies, some from their own garden on site. Chef David Slay is creative while keeping the classic dishes at their best. They have a reasonably good wine list, heavy on California, and light on other producers. A rather strange policy of NO carry in wine.
Cool place to meet and catch up with coworkers.reminds me of a cafe in chicago i liked to visit.
This place always delivers. They have fresh food for reasonable prices, there no long wait even when the spot is loaded.
Great food and great service. A bit expensive but absolutely worth it. Felt a bit nostalgic with the mid century decor.
First time here for a birthday party. I had higher expectations for this place. We just happened to be there on a bad day, I guess. The birthday boy enjoyed his food, so that's what really matters.
Place is waaaaay over priced.especially for the location in stanton. The interior is very beautiful. This is a perfect place is you are looking for privacy and a quite peaceful dinner. I ordered a fillet mignon.the fillet could of been better and tastier. "Comparison to The ranch, smicks and McCormicks, White House" ect.very simple platter.vegetables and smash potatoes were extremely dole and tasteless.very expense. Not worth your buck.much better places.for much less money!
I tried this spot in the past with my friend and I am addicted since then. I loved the awesome mood and delightful food and drinks. 5 stars.
Loved it! A little expensive but if its a special occasion or once in a great while its fine. The food is great and so is the atmosphere.
The food was delicious. The atmosphere is great. Definitely check out the herb garden outside, they use the ingredients in their food. Service was also good. Oh, and it is pricey but not enough to stop me from going back.
Amazing food and it's a hidden gem in Stanton that will surprise you for sure, the food and menu are delicious and me and my wife have been going here for years and we just tried the chef/owner newer garage Italian restaurant for the first time and it's just as amazing, to get there you walk through his secret garden, it's definitely worth trying and you won't be let down at all and it's a awesome place to take your special someone on a date night or even a first date both restaurant's.
One of my preferred spots to grab something to eat.very good location, clean, and excellent customer service. Highly recommended!
This restaurant is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I feel like having a special lunchon, this is the place that comes instantly to my head.outstanding and all kinds of food and a rich cuisine.courteous staff, and agreeable mood. In addition to that, the cost is fair. I recommend this restaurant with pleasure.
Our first time here. It was terrific, from the bar (very friendly and knowledgeable bartender), he told us the history of the restaurant, to the exceptional service and food. The server clearly described the nights specials, which were delicious. We checked out the grounds and herb gardens, very pretty areas. We will definitely be going again.
I eat in this spot a lot since I work nearby. I got to say the customer service is always great and they keep the spot neat regularly. Rates are reasonable and they serve sizeable portions.
Certainly a place worth stopping over, the food is great and fresh, the costs are convenient and it is always well organized there. Keep up the good work.
It was okay. My scallops were under cooked (cold in the middle) and desert menu offerings were boring; ice cream & cheesecake.
We were looking forward to the bread pudding as a desert choice, but we were told that item had been removed from the menu for 'Mother's Day'. Really?
