Park 'N' Travel, Oakland CA

Don't use Park 'N Travel, unless you want to find your own transport.

We reserved a spot at Park 'N Travel Oakland and, upon arriving back home, called the number they gave us to summon the shuttle. It was busy. We continued calling, GETTING THE BUSY SIGNAL FOR 35 MINUTES!

We finally gave up, paid almost $20 for an Uber ride from the airport to their lot to retrieve our car. The guy there said that all of the parking companies were having phone issues. If that was the case, they should be sending a shuttle to the airport at our indicated arrival time. We saw shuttles from the other main companies. That felt like a lame excuse that they could have remedied by sending their shuttle. They have the arrival times on the customers' reservations.

We will never use this lot again.

The website is horrible. When I tried to call someone to get some help he refused to help me and he told me he was driving and it’s raining and he can’t help.

Now I know why a lot people don’t want to reserve at this shuttle service. The pickup time at the airport takes about 45 minutes. If you don’t mind waiting that long then, it’s fine. Their personnel is good though, courteous!

This little place is the best proximity to the airport you can get for parking. The staff is always friendly!

Wilfred! He is the reason I come park here! He is the sweetest and always makes us feel taken care of when we travel. I always park here when I fly out of Oakland. Its a good deal and really close to the airport.

Reasonable price, convenient, and very close to the OAK. I parked my car here for a week and the whole process was smooth. Professional staff and shuttle service was quick from and to the airport.

When I returned from vacation my vehicle had been vandalized! One broken window and damage under the vehicle. They really didn't seem to care about my situation. Sent me off saying the vehicle should be fine and I didn't even make it two blocks and there was a terrible scraping noise under my vehicle so I had to pull over and wait 5 hours in an undesirable place for a tow with my young granddaughter. Worst experience ever!

This place is a lie. Claims to be 24/7 but does not stay open past midnight. Multiple signs saying their open but no response from phone. Had to wait for hours in the cold rain before someone finally showed to open gate so I can get my car. After reading other reviews will never go here again

Horrible, horrible experience! If I could give this rating a negative star I would, not even deserving of 1 star rating that’s how horrible my experience was!

Never parking here again! False advertising, the website says they are open 24 hrs/ day, and then Google says they close at 12 am and open at 4 am, very misleading! My flight got delayed 1.2 hrs and on top of that baggage claim took an additional 25 min to collect my bags. Immediately when I landed at 12: 15 am I called to arrange pick up, to my surprise NO Answer. I called more 15 times, left voicemail no answer or call back. For this to be a family business you would think they would be more attentive to customers but clearly was not the case.

I ended up having another near by shuttle company (Expresso Parking Lot) assisted me as was stranded at the airport waiting over 45 min for a shuttle that NEVER came and the advertised being open. They were generous enough to drive me to the Park N Travel lot to see if it was open. To my surprise the entire lot was gated and pad locked so I was unable to access my car! Not to mention the lot has a “Open” light sign on, again very misleading as it clearly was not open. I ended up waiting 2.5 hrs for the lot to open at 4 am. When I talked to the parking lot attendants to pick up my car, they mentioned that this confusion with times had been happening a lot so they were sympathetic with me— but still inexcusable and poor management to have your employees deal with fussy customers wanting their cars in peace!

I will NEVER ever park here again! Buyer beware, they also over book appointments and take your money and then leave your car with no actual parking spot and call it “valet” so your required to leave your keys. It’s a sketchy setup I don’t even know how these people are in business! This is airport parking after all, why they would close at 12 am when all others are 24 hrs service as flight times vary is beyond me! But they definitely need to fix their false misleading advertising ASAP! Do not, I repeat do not go here no matter how cheap their rate is advertised not worth the hassle!

I showed up with reservation I had fro a month and they were full. I barely made my flight I drove to 4 other places before I found one and it costed a fortune. ThATS WHY i PLAN I parked here for 12 years They used to be good Drivers are great

My husband went to pickup his car this morning, gave the attendant his tag information, only to be told it was given to someone else 20 minutes ago. EXCUSE ME! Do they not check who they give the vehicle too? ID, reservation number, anything? ! How do you give away a person's vehicle without checking. My husband immediately called Oakland PD to report it stolen, only to later find it himself in the lot across the street. Apparently, they put the incorrect tag on it.
Then my husband had to wait another 30 minutes for someone to find the keys.just a complete nightmare! No accountability for the error they caused either, no refund given. WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!

Ugggg. Too bad, this was not good. Passed us up at the airport upon pick up. Among other issues with staff, just won’t go back again. There are so many other reliable options.

Terrible experience. My flight is at 5am and I’m here at 3: 14am. Despite there being an open sign that says 24 hours, the gates are locked and no one seems to be there. We’re honking but no one is coming out.
