Caterer Parker Potrero reviews
20 I hate to say it but overall I didn't like the food. In theory, this place and the menu that it has, it should have been a great place for me but when I ordered that amazing cauliflower I didn't like it, I really struggled a lot to make it tasty for me. Also, if you are ordering it then beware that those cauliflowers are really spicy.
But my friends really love their smoked salmon, they say it's one of the best they have had.
One other friend really liked his chicken sandwich as well.
Lots of options for vegetarians and nice cold and warm bowls. I had the Cauliflower bowl and added more Sriracha to make it spicy. The bowl tasted excellent. A cool neighborhood restaurant with healthy options and attentive service.
Excellent brunch, nice people. Food is superb. Pay screen has minimum 20% tip, I don’t like it when restaurants do that, in this case the waiter stands with an iPad next to you so it feels forced.
Friendly, and intimate dining with an emphasis on freshly prepared food. Small menu based on quality ingredients.
Tasty brunch, super fresh and lots of side salad. Best fresh orange juice I’ve had in ages. Good value for the quality, and nice views from the outdoor seating!
Came here without a reservation at 10 am on a Sunday! We got seated right away outside and it was a little bit cold but it was still a great cute brunch ambiance.
Good:
- Big portion sizes and reasonable brunch prices! I got the cauliflower bowl and really liked the sauce and beets and butternut squash combo. Felt super healthy too.
- French toast was fluffy and not too sweet
Bad:
- Food does take a while to come out
- Outdoor seating is on a slant which is harder to balance
Overall this feels like an underrated brunch spot that hasn’t gotten too busy yet but is good food.
My Parker Salad was delicious, but the host (possibly the owner or manager) was a little unfriendly.
Nice little cafe in Potrero. Excellent, friendly service!
I had the pan seared salmon sandwich with a side salad that was very good.
Good service and $5 friday champagne deal! However, avoid the brussel sprouts.they lacked any flavor and seasoning, and were also soggy.the bacon bits were good but couldn’t carry the dish
Never thought I would write something, other than a restaurant review, but my consciousness proved otherwise. Yeah, the food is good but now I question the awful attitude of the owner towards a table of Asian customers, including a kid, last Monday on Labor Day. When a few of them asked him for condiments and a correction to a meal he snapped to a wife, “I’m sick of you people! ” among other derogatory exclamations. When he was asked to apologize he just turned away. Meanwhile, he served Caucasian customers with the utmost friendly service. Looking stunned, the targeted group left without paying, which the owner didn’t seem to mind, and went across the street to Chez Maman. There, they were seated right away plus treated with kindness, friendliness and patience. But too bad their terrible experience at Parker, especially for the preteen kid, will most likely remind them of how racism is still strong in this country.
This place is criminally underrated. Healthy, fresh Californian food at reasonable prices, warm service, and they always have seats available
Parker Potrero is absolutely incredible. A quick morning breakfast on a work trip turned into three days straight going to the same place because of amazing, healthy food AND incredible waiter/waitress. The outdoor seating lets you enjoy the wonderful weather and seeing the people working with a smile, open to conversation, etc just makes it that much better. I will certainly go out of my way to stay in the area again in order to grab breakfast at Parker Potrero again!
High-quality ingredients, tasty dishes, kind people, and always good music. One of my favorite places for any meal of the day.
Absolutely delicious brunch!
Food is delectably flavorful. Service is welcoming and efficient. You can tell that they use fresh ingredients.
Went here on a Sunday for brunch. Opted for indoor dine-in as the wait time was short ~15mins.
We had Vegetarian Scramble, Pesto Benedict and Eyes Wide Awake (juice).
I loved Pesto Benedict. If you are Pesto fan, go for this! It was creamy, smooth and flavorful.
Juice is a bit expensive ~10$, but the taste is so good. It’s fresh squeezed and flavors compliment each other well. Vegetarian scramble was good too with roasted potatoes and chimichurri sauce.
Purple spot to get an absolutely delicious breakfast or brunch. The seizure salad has brussel sprouts and a wonderful dressing. Had a fantastic sandwich made on local artisan bread. The staff are friendly and the service is amazing. Space is airy and clean.
Perfect decompression spot after a busy morning.
I ordered breakfast enroute to work. All I have to say is, if the owner (s) and/or staff doesn’t want U there, they know how to rid U…have U wanting more than 30mins and if that doesn’t work, burn your food.ijs
Flavors were good and service friendly but the portions were on the smaller side and prices a bit much when just paying for some potatoes and eggs (also $4 extra for a few slices of avocado). The acai smoothie was delicious and our fav item ($11).
This restaurant is a gem. I am a vegetarian and they have the best burrata the best risotto that I’ve ever had. It was extremely affordable we arrived a little late so they weren’t too many people across the street as a famous French restaurant that everybody was waiting at we got our food served excellently and I was just in all in the flavors I travel a lot to Italy and to France the person who came out and talk to us at the end was French so I’m guessing the chef is French it was insane that so many people were at the bistro across the street and hardly anybody was at the restaurant where I had the most incredible meal ever. And super affordable. I loved this place we ended up there because it had a ranking for top salads in San Francisco and I had the leftovers today and it was still almost as good as in the restaurant. Highly recommend.
Good healthy-ish food and a great setting. If the weather is nice I recommend grabbing a table outside so that you can view downtown.
Not 5 stars because:
1. The portion sizes seemed all over the place to me. My Asian chopped salad was HUGE but my friends salad was less than half of mine but at the same price
2. The staff was slow with everything. Slow to bring us our menus, to take our order, to bring us the order, to bring the check, to run the check, literally everything. They were friendly and knowledgeable but just slow. It wasn’t like they were busy at the time, I counted 4 tables between inside and outside, and at least 4 people working in front of the house.
3. The menu didn’t list all the ingredients in all the dishes
While visiting San Fransico. We found this wonderful place for breakfast. Very friendly staff and great food. I highly recomend
