Parking lot for Phantom Falls reviews
7Parking is easy on the weekdays (thus 5 stars). But on the weekends, that is probably a different story! There are about 10 porta pottys there.
DON'T GO on the weekend! It was a madhouse. So many cars people walked for a long way. Beautiful flowers though.
Make sure to get there early as the crowds get pretty heavy after 9 am. All the falls are amazing but phantom is teriffic!
Fish and Game now charges over $4 to enter this place now. There is one port o potty in the parking lot, yet someone took a dump under the only shade tree around. If the state wants to charge for entry, there should be more facilities. Put a couple of benches and tables under the shade tree for having lunch or something, Or just quit charging and let us use our land that our taxes already pay for.
Bathrooms available, good parking, easy to find. A quick trip from Chico makes it very convenient for a day trip.
The starting point to potential life moments and memories begin in this parking lot. My pics are proof if you need it ;)
Small and crowded parking area.portable toilets available. Now state parks asking a fee to enter. 16yrs and under are free. If u have a hunting or fishing license it's free. Everyone else has to log into a site to pay and there is a officer at the site at least he was last weekend.
