Recently went back to Parklane Dental and the experience was great. I think some of the newer staff they have in the front office is making a huge difference.

This clinic is just a facade. Although the decoration is gorgeous, every appointment has to wait for a long time, and every time the dentist tries to persuade you to go back and make money for him. Before I went for a dental wash last time, the nurse took an X-ray of me and told me that there were four cavities that needed to be repaired before, and all of them were good. I made an appointment to have them repaired, but the gap between the teeth was too wide for the first time. Two days later, I went back to the doctor to grind them off and have them repaired again, But this time when I came back, my tooth became inflamed. After experiencing severe pain for two weeks, I arranged for a doctor to have it examined again. This time, the doctor told me that my tooth root had already broken and needed root canal treatment. After analyzing it, I thought it was her filling that caused my tooth to become infected and damaged. The doctor told me irresponsibly that it was not her fault, but I had an X-ray taken before filling, and this tooth is still good, After completing the repair, it broke down. The doctor was not responsible, and if they didn't do it well, they would shirk the responsibility. It's really bad

This clinic has professional and kind doctors and techs, yet the receptionists are so unprofessional. In particular, since they have a rude and uncaring manager named Grace. Believe me, it wasn't like this a few years ago. I wonder when their service team turned out to be so bad and if it wasn't for the fact that I am used to meeting their doctors, I wouldn't come back.

Existing client and I regretted coming to this place. Reception service is horrible, wished they spend more time to do better work instead of chitchatting every minute and every time I was there. Horrible communication skill among the whole office. I called and asked if I can just move on to the next tray as I lost mine. They said no and made me come in to office within 1 hour and said doctor needs to see you. I left in middle of work, just to get there and wait 20 min before seeing the assistant, who told me I SHOULDVE brought the next tray and told me that doctor WOULD say to just move to the next tray. I literally triple confirmed with the person on the call that if I can just move on to the next tray, but they insisted that I have to go in to office and didn’t mention anything that I SHOULD bring. I wasted my workday and didn’t see the doctor and ended up doing the same method that I proposed. It’s a mid to high-end orthodontist office with a bunch of staffs, and every visit, it’s a minimum 20 minutes wait, which u have to sit and hear about the front desk staffs chitchatting. I think $6k deserve better service.

They have ZERO consideration for their customer's time. My family has been coming here for a couple years now and almost every time we have to WAIT ABOUT AN HOUR just to actually start the appointment! They obviously prioritize overbooking appointments for profit maximization versus providing exceptional customer experience. If you do decide to come here, make sure you double your alotted time because half of it will consist of WAITING, WAITING, and yes, MORE WAITING.

I really don't understand the raving reviews.my husband and i were looking for a new dentist and decided to go with parklane since it seemed like everyone loves them and has nothing but positive experiences here.i had scheduled two back to back appointments at the temple city location.on the day of the appointment, we had to cancel my husband's last minute due to a work emergency and the front desk mentioned that there would be a $50 cancellation fee.how are you going to charge a first time patient a $50 cancellation fee if 1.they've never been there and 2.the least you could do is waive it given that it's a first time visit? I went along with my appointment as scheduled but didn't find the staff or facility outstanding like everyone seems to say.if anything, it just gave off
"we're the most modern dental practice in the area so we can charge outrageous prices for the services" vibes.when my husband went to the arcadia location for his rescheduled appointment, he left with the dentist stating that he had two cavities and four wisdom teeth that had to be removed.out of pocket, the lady that helped him with his consultation said it would be ~$400 out of pocket just to take care the cavities.mind you, we have premium insurance that's purchased through an employer so it didn't make sense why it would cost so much.after the consultation, instead of allowing him to wait in the lobby, they kicked him out into the parking lot.because we didn't feel comfortable with the interactions at parklane, i decided to look for another dental practice.of course, given that parklane has my husband's x-rays, a hipaa consent form needed to be filled out before anything was released to the new dentist we were going to.i had faxed the form TWICE just in case it didn't go through the first time for whatever reason - i even called the office and the lady that picked up the phone said it was received and that they've already forwarded my husband's x-rays over to our new dentist.on the day of the appointment at our new dentist, the receptionist asked if we happened to have any of our dental x-rays.i told her i didn't as i was pregnant at the time, but my husband's was already sent over.she spent 15 minutes scouring the system and ends up telling me that nothing was received on their end.i get on the phone and contact parklane - this lady with the rudest attitude picks up and i tell her about the situation.she proceeds to put me on hold for 10 minutes and ends up hanging up.i call back and the same voice was on the line, it was the same lady named GRACE that hung up on me.i told her that we just spoke and i was waiting on the x-rays, she claims that i was speaking to someone else.she mentioned her name both times i called, but whatever.she made us wait over an hour before the x-rays were finally sent and even when they were received, it was so pixelated it was as if they were taken in 1950.after completing new x-rays at our new dentist, it turned out that my husband DID NOT have two cavities as parklane dental had mentioned.it just showed us how shady and money hungry they are - they make up false health issues just to pocket more money even though their dental procedures are already marked up steeply.

My appointment was at four. Dentist showed up 5: 15.
Not respectful to our time.
