Bar Park's BBQ reviews
16I'm from out of town and this has been the best Korean BBQ I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend!
The food was delicious. We ordered a combination, added steamed egg, and staff recommended soju. Everything was so tasty and the soup was so smooth.
We (the two of us) had the P1 which consisted of the Park's marinated prime shortribs, brisket, unmarinated short ribs (flower or ggot sal), and I think a ribeye. It was perfect for two hungry people or three somewhat hungry people. I wish the banchan had larger portions instead of just two broccoli florettes in the broccoli container. The fish cake, kimchi, broccoli, marinated crab, rice paper, seaweed salad, and salad were all delicious banchan. It was the first time I had truly nice kbbq and going to parks felt like an occasion and was truly delicious. Just please make the banchan larger. Also the person cooking for us was extremely efficient and I couldn't keep up with how she was cooking so it can be overwhelming for a newbie. But not to worry, it's delicious.
We used to go this restaurant was fabulous (far distance from where we live) -we went last night with horific traffic Nov20 for my birthday-total disaster, Rude service main meat was the lowest quality and pricy. Banchan (side dishies) were also low quality-skimpy of everything.we never go there again.bad vive & atmosphere.
Incredible Korean BBQ! We found this place online recommended by many sites, and we ended up going twice within two separate trips because it's just a must. The wait is usually not as long as they tell you it will be, but it's worth it either way. The prices are very fair for the quality of the meal, and like everyone else has made a point to say: the meat is so so so fresh. The service was top-notch during both visits (we sat both inside and outside), the selection of food and drink items is excellent, and it's going to be a mandatory stop for me for every trip to LA moving forward.
Yes it's expensive. But it was outstanding and we thought it was very well worth the price - paid 175 plus drinks for the #2 sampler which was perfect for 3 people, and every cut of meat included was excellent! It's not an "all you can eat" so coming here is about having a real gourmet experience, with great service too, not about getting yourself stuffed with meat.
Heard and read about this KBBQ place in the heart of KTown, finally had a chance to try it with good friends from SF, we all absolutely loved it! The quality of meat selection was top notch and our server David was extremely courteous and took care of us well even if he was managing other tables. We will definitely be back.
High quality Korean BBQ spot where you order by the plate. I’ve been wanting to come here ever since I read about how Anthony Bourdain visited this spot, and came here in a group of 9 for a friend’s birthday on a Friday night. We made a reservation beforehand, and they seated us once the majority of the group arrived. Limited valet parking or street parking. Credit cards accepted. Stalled restrooms are available in the front.
We ordered various meats, including bulgogi, brisket, pork belly, and short rib. They have combos available, but those apparently are meant for two people. The banchan they provided were similarly high quality and I really enjoyed the spicy fish cakes. We got the cold sweet potato noodles which they’re apparently known for; I wasn’t the biggest fan, but I could see how it could be refreshing about sitting in front of grilling meats. The kimchi pancake was a crowd pleaser and was super crispy. The soju and beer were ordered were really smooth and complemented the meal. You have to ask for rice paper if you want any. The restaurant was busy but the service was nice given the circumstances.
Excellent quality meats service is also good but be prepared to pay plus seems everytime I go gets more expensive
One of the best authentic Korean bbq. The meat quality is good and pretty much meet it’s price. A must try place for KBBQ.
We got the big Wagyu and it easily fed 2 people. Outdoor dining was fantastic too! Will definitely go back.
The waitress did not know what they were doing and we were not served. It was incredible that a cockroach fell into the water glass.
Took a close friend. The food was good. Service was good, but not exceptional. We were there at lunch time.
Pretty tasty. Banchan changes all the time, reasonably valued for the quality and amount of meat you get for a combo. The wait is not super long if you go there on weekdays, a little longer on weekends. The inside of the restaurant is a little loud. Also there is valet parking.
Love this place! Good food! Great side dishes! Can always tell how good the restaurant is by the side dishes! Soup was perfect with the selection of meats!
Great KBBQ experience! Each of the meats (two orders minimum) were fantastic in flavor and quality. Pretty normal pricing for KBBQ (which is to say expensive, but not overly so). The sides were exceptional as well. Parking is valet but it's only a couple dollars.
