Pasadena DMV

9/2023 small dmv very HOT. Not well organized or signage to point you the right place. Yvonne in testing area seems lost half the time. Rude and short with clients. I understand it’s busy with losts of different languages and handicap people here, but she needs to take a second and treat people with some kind of respect. Maybe a pre screening process before you walk in would expedite the process

Best DMV in the world! Most of the time it’s not busy at all.
When it’s busy it’s not that bad, and when it’s quiet, it’s crazy fast. Just came back from it, came at 4.30, out by 4.45.

Waited in line for my car registration only to have the rudest agent tell me she didn't handle registration and sent me to a different line, when she was the same agent that helped me with the same task last week for my wife's car. I should file a complaint with Steve Gordon!

The best DMV experience ever!
I was there at 7: 15, # 4 in line, and they opened at 7: 30ish! I was able to leave the place at 8: 10am, so fast and the process was very smooth, and the lady there was super nice!

I got the help from window 5, window 18 and the manager. Everyone is so friendly and supportive. Moreover, in and out within 1 hour, including filling applications, taking photo and getting temporary driver license. This is my favorite DMV in San Gabriel Valley.

They robbed me off my 3rd written test. The Asian guy at the written test area took me off the computer so someone else can use it so I wasn’t able to do my 3rd time written test. He even was giving me answers and never mentioned I would lose 1/3 tries. So after only taking my test 2 times I got robbed out of my 3rd time and I have to pay again. Be careful w the old Asian guy that sometimes wears glasses

No long waiting spend less time than expected first time there and it wasn't that bad at all

Too many people took the driver's license test! The whole room was packed, and even I wanted to get the Chinese version of the driver's manual, but I got all of them! Fortunately, there was a staff member at the scene who took a photocopied version inside Give it to me, thanks to her!

This DMV is very good and people are nice. I came in with no appointments and only waited in one hour.

I arrived before 9: 00AM so there were few people and almost no wait line. The staff was very friendly and helpful. That's my first ever experience in a US DMV office and it was great. It took me less than 30 minutes to complete my first driver license application process. The point is, you DO NOT need to make an appointment before you go to the DMV office in person.

Very well organized and efficient. Polite friendly and knowledgeable staff. Overall a pleasant experience.

Came in 90mins before opening on a Monday morning. Was amongst the first five people in line. Then, a whole HOUR before 8am opening time, they opened the doors and took care of everyone early! Unbelievable! Now i can get breakfast and still get to work on time! Woohoo!

"For your third attempt you should have done better" was an unacceptable comment to make. It was not necessary and rubbed salt in the wound. If your instructor disrespects you, ask for a supervisor (Ema) and request to have a feedback form. Detail the behavior that should not have occurred. I highly encourage avoiding this DMV for behind the wheel tests.

Everyone was SO nice, so organized, so helpful. Without an appointment (to take written driver's test) I was in and out in under one hour. THANK YOU DMV
