Pasadena Fish Market reviews
21The food is great. The people that work there.are not very engaging. But the food is worth the lack of personality they display.
I tried this place for the first time today. It was absolutely amazing! I got the Family A meal, it definitely took my breath away! From the shrimp to the sole and snapper I couldn’t decide which one had the most flavor! The fish was surprisingly fresh even after the deep fry!
On a scale from 1-10 this place gets a 10+
The food is absolutely delicious! And very affordable i love this place! And u definitely get your moneys worth! One plate is enough for two people
Only black owned fish place in town. Food is good the service is a lil slow (with so many orders) but the food is worth it.
Got to know this little Jamaican place through a friend, even though they don't have the best customer service, it is fine with me. Because the quality of their foods are amazing. My wife loves the Jerk Chicken, the amount of spices are perfect. Their catfish is very good too, no fishy taste/smell whatsoever. I plan to try their other dishes, such as their shrimp, chicken, etc. Last thing, their prices are still within the reasonable range, especially during this inflation period.
Great food always I personally love their wing lunch so scrumptious and it's going to leave you full and.coming back for more
The best fried shrimps! Best catfish! Can handle large orders. Oxtail great! Cabbage and yams great! I recommend to all.
Beef patty was sooooo good, nice spice to it. No picture because I ate it all. Chicken patty was okay, more like a curry chicken patty. The main dish, the oxtail lunch was very good and I got some plantains on the side. I give them a 9/10. I’ll be back.
The establishment, was once known to cater food, or you good rent, the back room, for private parties, or office parties after work gathering. The place has a good fresh fish, and several different kind, that can be prepared for you there. Or if you want to take home fresh, you can do that also.
.
1st experience here. Presentation, GREAT! Portions are fair. Pricing is fair. $10-$20 per person with desert. I had a dinner with 2 sides & sweet potato pie. Taste was magnificent!
I get the grilled catfish with fried okra. Ive tried the fried chicken with greens and hushpuppies
Ive tried the oxtails with macaroni and cheese and greens.
Everything is wonderfully tasty.
Had 2 visit the Pasadena Fish Market. It's changed fish was ok was not pleased wanted coleslaw & fries as the sides got double fries
Turn around on the orders has improved. Much faster. Food is always delicious. Fried filet of sole, collard greens and cabbage highly reccomended.
The workers are very rude, you can at least smile and greet people. I ask a simple question about is it same owner and the smart mouth dark skin dude didn’t have to respond In a ugly matter. The food is amazing, my fish was bomb but y’all need better customer service. Im big on customer service they matter the most.
Best fried seafood and Jamaican cuisine in Pasadena if u like oxtail fried fish shrimp oysters etc this is the place amazing beef patties to.a wonderful family owned buisness
Red Snapper very tasty. Healthy sized portions. Thank you for helping with portion control. Friendly staff. Appreciate safety measures.
Best in Pasadena! Oysters, catfish, hush puppies, with 3 wings! All on a bed of fresh french fries! Dont forget your 2 sides mac n cheese and coleslaw! And authentic fresh juices from Jamaica! Buy your own seasonings from here and also make your own! Cant loose either way u go your g9nna win!
I usually enjoy this place. The food is usually good. But this time around was not a great experience. The chicken had a burnt taste. The fried catfish did not taste like catfish. And the mac and cheese was not it's usual yumminess. It was very dry. I was pretty disappointed
