I am at a loss to understand how this is rated 4.6 stars on Doordash. This is possibly the worst Indian food I had in the Bay area. It’s expensive and totally not worth the price. Food is salty, quantity and packaging is abysmal and the Biryani was the worst I ever had with half cooked Chicken. Who would’ve thought to pay extra for raita, with nothing included as an accompaniment. And that is after already charging $20 for just the Biryani.

Some entrees were decent but nothing extraordinary. Even Rotis were salty. Wayyyy overpriced for less than average food.

Achar eggplant is very spicy! The person who took order did not say he was going to order 8/10 spice level!? I assumed if I did not say spicy it will be medium! Had stomach upset, I think Indian restaurants asSume those with Indian names always eat very spicy food. Appetizer Paneer something was excessively salty. But their menu was different from the run of the mill, same food no matter which town you go to type, too bad it was that spicy!

Review for SIP Doordash pickup. Way too expensive for small portion size. Buffet was great deal but I don't recommend their SIP service.

I ordered a plate of samosas here, and they tasted exactly similar to ones I had in my hometown (UP). Looking forward to going here once dine in opens up!

At the moment you enter this restaurant the waiters give you an excellent feeling. Very hospitable waiters, it is a kind place to go out with your friends or with your date.tasty meals, talented chef, modest pay and generous service. Highly recommended.

Visited on a Thursday. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. The bill was reasonable I would say.

I’ve never really been exposed to Indian food, but from a general point of view, eating at Passage To India was a wonderful and welcoming experience for a first-timer. I really liked the buffet style, which let me try new foods. I loved the hospitality of the staff, but there were some desserts we had to ask for, such as raita and mango lassi, and I’m not sure why they didn’t showcase the food, because if my parents hadn’t specifically wanted to try it, we probably wouldn’t have had the opportunity to try it. Overall, the environment, the staff, and the food are all great, and I would both recommend it and want to come back.

Good buffet with lots of variety. Servers were efficient about keeping waters filled and handling the check. Some of the items that I expect to be spicy were quite mild, not surprising at a buffet.

My favorite Indian restaurant.

There is a lot of variety, which is fantastic for discovering new dishes. I found the food to be well prepared and tasty. I would recommend this place to anybody who likes Indian food.

I lobed the food ambience varieties.there were huge variety of indian cuisine to have.they have number of option in snacks starters main course desserts which includes north and south indian taste.food quality is that good that i can trust it to feed it my kid

This place is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant.when I feel like having a good dinner, this restaurant comes straight to my head.very good and diverse food and a large list of dishes.well mannered staff members, and good atmosphere. Not less important, the cost is modest. I suggest this restaurant with pleasure.

I ordered on eatstreet and they did not make the offer even after an hour. This happened twice now and I am never going back again.
