Nicest AirBnB we've ever stayed at! Private studio with cushy comfy bed, spacious bathroom, desk area, and access to kitchen and outside areas. They will prepare a gourmet dinner or tasty breakfast if you set it up ahead of time. We didn't but will next time! Very easy to find, just off the freeway, walking distance to beach, easy access to beach or redwood hikes and nice restaurants suggested by host Cherie (we loved The Larrupin in nearby Trinidad.) Friendly hosts - we will return!

Patsy's Place of Humboldt is an outstanding B&B with the most amazing hosts! So many good things to say about our stay-my husband and I devoured the ample home-cooked breakfasts ($15 a day per person is so worth it), sipped tea and gazed out at the sea from the balcony, and enjoyed a luxurious soothing bath at the end of each day. The hosts gave excellent suggestions of things to do in the area, from sightseeing, evening activities, and places to eat. They were also just lovely people to chat with about anything; we felt so welcomed in their home. Extra special was the surprise birthday dinner Cherie helped me plan for my husband: Sarah, the executive chef, cooked an excellent 3-course meal of flavor-packed pork spring rolls, the freshest salad, and most tender Mongolian beef we've ever had. Their garden was a gorgeous setting for this memorable dinner, and Ken and Cherie helped me sing to my husband as he blew out the candles on his birthday pie. Can't wait to visit here again!

The first B&B that has ever exceeded their representations. This charming Irish hospitable home is nestled just off the Pacific Ocean. Cherie, Ken, and daughter Sarah, were friendly, enjoyable, funny, and extremely accommodating. And then there is the wholesome, healthy, great tasting, graciously served food.

There is no finer place to stay in all of Humboldt. The room is amazing. The porch is relaxing with stunning views of the sunset. The tub is relaxing. The proprietors are friendly and accommodating. The food will make you forget that there are great restaurants you wanted to visit.

If there was a 6th star, I’d give it!

Wonderful bed and breakfast, with indoor and outdoor spaces to have a small planning retreat. Great food. Wonderful local products for gift purchases. Nice patio and window views of the Pacific Ocean. Near Hammond Trail, great trail along the Mad River and nearby Clam Beach… check out the seals sleeping on the beach there. Beautiful garden, even in the winter. Nice business office area, casual meeting areas, and coffee/tea in the room waiting. Love the rocking chair view of the ocean. Great place for conversation and connecting, worth checking out!

Enjoyed our stay emensly.
Greeted right away by cherie. Absolutely the sweetest lady. Great view of ocean from or room, very comfy she made us feel right at home. She even baked my partner a cake for his birthday. It was such an unexpected treat, so yummy. And breakfast was great!
Will definatly return when visiting the area again.
Thank you Chrie and Ken
