Paul Martin’s American Grill reviews
19EXCELLENT FOOD! Our waiter Brandon was courteous, informative, and an all-around good worker. Everything he suggested was on-point. I can't say enough how good the food was. My friend and I were celebrating our birthdays (We went on a Sunday). It couldn't have been a better time. We had the artichoke and spinach dip - to die for; baby back ribs - tender, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly; and the sides - green beans/sweet potato fries - were cooked to perfection. Their butter cake (I believe that's what it was called) was so good. Definitely put this on your list to visit!
We had a wonderful late lunch/ early Easter dinner at Paul Martin's. Cocktails were gorgeous, salt/pepper shrimp appetizer was perfectly cooked and delicious, and our entrees were also great. My filet mignon was slightly overcooked but that's probably my own fault for asking it to be medium to medium-well. My daughter's was perfect as she went with medium! My only HUGE complaint is that they no longer serve their delicious bread! My kids loved it and it accompanied their kids meals well. They were very disappointed as they always looked forward to it.
Fantastic staff and food! We were treated like special guests. Really love Paul Martin’s for anytime dining with friends and family!
Customer service was exceptional, Angelica should be used as a preceptor for new hires. Food was good. Fried calamari with the cocktail sauce for entry was perfect, shrimp tacos and spicy chicken sandwich completed our lunch. We had Courtage Blanc de Blancs Brut.
I don't give many 5 stars but this place deserves it. Service top notch. Food next level. Atmosphere cutting edge rustic.
Food was super salty. Dessert cake was dry. Server did a great job but for the money I expected better.
We had a huge party of 20, and our night there went silky smooth! Loved our server, he was super attentive and friendly! The table we got was wedged into its own area which we appreciated because it felt very private but not separated from everyone.
The French dip and garlic green beans were a huge hit!
Delicious. The server recommended the seafood tacos. They were full of flavor and a very nice serving size for lunch. In looking around, the burger, calamari appetizer and chicken looked very delicious too. The service was excellent.
Blackened ribeye and halibut are really good at Paul Martin's American Grill.
I drank Jordan (Carbernet Sauvignon) and I felt smooth and a little bit sweet.
Paul Martin's has been my go-to for curbside family meals. I just ordered 4 family sized meals last week for my mother-in-laws' birthday party. Everyone LOVED the braised short ribs.
It's a busy place on a Saturday night. Reservations are best made. Our waitress Timorei was really professional despite the extra long delay in the food coming. Kitchen was understaffed but we were kept informed and I can't fault them. Food was really good.
I went with my family parents got some wine my fiance for beer and I got a raspberry mule. We shared the deviled eggs and dip trio, the dips (spicy Tzatziki, hummus and one other) were amazing as was the pita bread and the bacon on the deviled eggs was so perfect. My fiance and I shared the ribs and and again they were fantastic super tender and juicy. Though I felt the seasoning on the French fries was a little too much. The service was fantastic as was the ambience but the music was a little too loud and I felt like I had to shout to have any kind of conversation.
Went for a special occasion and could not have been more disappointed. Our food was cold and the service was wanting. At their price points we felt like we made a very poor spending decision. It was our first and likely last visit.
Love the food and service here! The short rib is by far the best entree we have eaten there and it never disappoints. For dessert the butter cake is amazing!
We were really disappointed to find out they quit serving their sourdough bread.there isn't even an option to purchase it anymore. We ordered the cheddar biscuits but they were dry and honestly Red Lobster's biscuits are much better.
We only got desserts from here (the butter cake and the chocolate cake) as well as the cheddar biscuits.
We were comparing butter cakes from different restaurants which was our initial reason for ordering from Paul Martin’s.
Okay, so here we go:
Their Butter Cake is large and dense. It definitely needs a sauce and would taste much better if it were lighter and fluffier. The fruits on top help a bit, but not enough.
Their Decadent Chocolate Cake: Is it possible for a cake to be too rich? Maybe. If your preference is bitter dark chocolate, then you may like this cake. The raspberry sauce on the side was so sour without a hint of sweetness or flavor other than the sourness, it made us wonder if it was actually fresh. It didn’t help this cake out in terms of flavor.
Their Cheddar Biscuits: How can you go wrong with cheddar biscuits? Unfortunately, this must have just been a bad batch, bc the dough inside wasn’t fully cooked and so it was also deflated instead of being fluffy and yummy. The flavor would have been there otherwise, but we couldn’t get past the hard texture.
Being that we didn’t have any entrées from here, it is difficult to rate, but as for their baked treats go, we would have to recommend elsewhere.
Order was over cooked don't think the server was listening he messed up a few orders. For the price thought it would be better.
Food and service are always excellent. Large bar so it's easy to sneak in without a reservation and get great food.
We went at happy hour took over hour to get food and it wasn't that busy cold food not my happy spot
Had a group holiday dinner with 10 friends. Great service. Good drink menu. Great food. I had the "brick" chicken which was juicy and tasted great. (Easy to eat cuz it's deboned.) All kinda pricy, but, hey, it's the holidays and we all had a great time. Will go back next year, too.
