Peacock Pansy reviews
16Phenomenal service and food. Unbelievable gluten free pancakes! I don’t normally write reviews unless you really move me. Don’t hesitate to come here. Will definitely come back next time I am in town. Brunch is Other things on the menu were excellent as well. I cut into the pancake before taking the photo as I normally don’t photograph food. It just looked so good I had to.
Great atmosphere, good food. The service took a little long. They brought out half our order and then it took a while for the rest. Otherwise, highly recommend!
I am so excited about this new brunch spot in Hayes Valley! The restaurant itself is beautiful, the food is beautiful, but most importantly the food is delicious. My friend and I shared the Fried Chicken & Croffle and the Peacock Pansy pancakes, and we loved them both. I was especially impressed with the pancakes though because they were gluten-free but still incredibly fluffy and airy. The yuzu sauce on top is absolutely amazing. I'm definitely planning to be back again and again and to bring others.
The Moo swan Benedict tastes amazing, and I think it’s a must try. They also have a new bottomless mimosa special on weekdays for just $22.it’s a great price.
Came here for a weekday brunch, and this place is fantastic! I was really impressed with the depth of flavor of the dishes we ordered, textures of each component, variety of menu items, and the hospitality. Adding it to my list of spots for business breakfast meetings during the week. Glad they’re on Uber eats too!
You can tell Patty really cares about her customers, and it’s awesome to support a woman-owned business.
Lobster Omelet so amazing. Pretty indoor decorating. Staff great. Now open for dinner. Yummy Thai.
Great brunch food that puts a unique spin on classics without deviating too far from what you are craving.
It’s tough to find a brunch spot with great vegan options but this place was great! Loved the vegan French toast, and you can also get an impossible burger and other items can be made vegan. The inside is also very cute and laid back, will definitely return
This is a great Breakfast&Brunch spot to check out. Foods were delicious and fresh! I ordered Vegan French Toast (had such a great texture and flavor! Not overly too sweet! It’s great!) and Smoked Salmon Benedict (hollandaise sauce is the best part!), also their home fried potato is a bomb! Staffs are nice, friendly, and welcoming. Definitely be back for sure!
The food has great taste, Chorizo hash's must try dish come with premium chorizo and home made sauce.
Welcome to the neighborhood!
I ordered Fried chicken&Croffle, Truffled Cauliflower, Parmesan French toast and Shrimp curry Scrambled.
Food came out quickly, very beautifully decorated and delicious. The restaurant has nice ambiance. The service couldn't have been better. The server are friendly and attentive.
The food are really good. My favorite are Truffled Cauliflower Puree and Shrimp Curry Scrambled.
Shrimp Curry Scrambled * Shrimp are huge! Crunch and the curry sauce is very tasty. Its go very well with my Thai ice tea. Reminded me of the authentic Thai curry dish.
Cauliflower puree * the puree has great texture (like grits), roasted mushrooms and bacon bites are excellent its completed this dish. I love the aromatics of truffle oil.
I will definitely come back to try another dish with my friends and family. Keep up the good work!
Went here with two friends.
One friend got the crab omelette and it smelled so strongly of rotten meat that he couldn't even eat, and it upset my appetite as well. Literally smelled like roadkill.
I got the fried chicken and croffle (which is just a thin waffle, apparently?). The chicken was crispy on the outside but rubbery on the inside, so I couldn't even cut it. Had to resort to eating it like a caveman.
Third person enjoyed her chorizo plate, at least. But for the money and the wait, not worth it.
Very aesthetic new brunch spot! My friend and I visited on a Sunday around noon and were seated after less than a 5 minute wait. I ordered the chicken and croffle and the butterfly pea and my friend ordered the classic benedict. My drink came out very fast and while it was very pretty, it was too sweet for my liking. Our food took longer than expected to come out (almost 40 minutes) and the table next to us who ordered after us did receive some of their dishes before us. Maybe they're still working out some kinks being new. I was impressed with the croffle, which is definitely the best I've ever had! The chicken was also delicious. However, I had been expecting a larger portion, especially when compared to the size of the omelette (my 2nd choice) at the next table over. The food presentation was very nice and they do have pretty decorations throughout, including a flower wall at their entrance, so a la Son and Garden are clearly intended for those looking for an instagrammable brunch
Love this new brunch spot in the neighborhood! Great menu and the owner (Patty) is really kind. Meals are delicious and also presented well. My parents loved it too. We’ll be here regularly!
The restaurant is adorable! It is so nicely decorated and the staff is so friendly! Very aesthetically pleasing. Will definitely visit again!
When my friend told me about gluten free pancakes I had to try! I was not disappointed, the fruit, sweet yuzu sauce, and pancakes were all delicious and what I wanted. Good coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, and amazing friendly service! Plenty of seating on a weekday morning since it just opened a few weeks ago and I'm planning to come back on the weekend already to try more items! Decor is really cute and there's a mix of bar seating and tables. I noticed there's a good variety on the menu for vegan, vegetarian, meat eaters too
