Peasant Pies Cafe & Catering Mission Bay

Delicious! I tried the chicken pie, zucchini and mushroom and the pear crumble. They were all so good! Go with someone else so you can just have a bite if each!

My favorite place to eat when I visit UCSF. I have always loved the combination of pastry with meat and vegetable filling. Peasant Pies has a delicious variety that aren't overly filling. The dining area is large and comfortable.

I like this place and have become somewhat of a regular here.
Their iced mochas are on the sweeter side, but their pastries are always delightful.
The atmosphere is good and calming despite it being so small and so near to construction. It actually seems roomier than it really is!
I'd recommend their savory pies but allowing about 5-10 minutes for it to cool so you don't burn your mouth.
The staff is friendly and attentive and quite speedy. Payment to drink takes about 3 minutes.

Wow! What a gem of a lunch spot. Visited after a doctor's appointment at UCSF and treated myself to two delicious hand pies. The classic chicken was delicious, the texture and veggie mixture was excellent. The garbanzo bean and curry pie was unique, light and full of flavor.

Had to resist the temptation of trying a sweet pie as well, but I bet they're good! They had vegan options for savory pies and gluten free options for sweet.

I had both the chicken pie and the breakfast egg, sausage and potatoes pie. I preferred the breakfast pie, but both were good. Their version of the London Fog was also delicious. Would definitely recommend. Good customer service and priced well.

I absolutely love this place. The beef pie & potato pie is my favorite, along with the pear crumble pie that is to die over. Ali has a great thing from here. Don't be fooled by the name. It's not pizza

What a great place. The meat pies are to die for and the "white mocha coffees" are addicting! The super friendly staff makes you feel like your family.

They make good coffee here:) I've tried their curry pie and their beef and potato pie. The pies are really dry and mostly just bread.there's really not much filling at all. There was barely any potato in the beef pie also. I think for a quick bite the place is pretty good with the limited options around.

They know my order the moment I walk in. Never failed to give excellent service. Tirsa, Leda, Natalie and Maddie are all super friendly.
