My son loves training jiujitsu with sensei Soriano. So much so that we’re now both attending together. The knowledge, skill and training we’re receiving here is phenomenal. My son has tried other athletic endeavors but nothing he appreciates and enjoys like jiujitsu. I’m an avid strength trainer and runner and training jiujitsu is my new personal favorite. This is a great Dojo. After trying a few places in the southbay, we were so lucky to find Sensei Soriano. My son takes both BJJ and Judo classes at this amazing dojo.

He is 100% hands on with his students. My son's attitude, fitness and confidence continues to improve.

Great community, outstanding instruction and work out. If like me you’ve never tried it before, don’t be intimidated. If you are experienced, there are plenty of advanced athletes to challenge you. Pedro Soriano does a terrific job

I started training with Professor Soriano in 2019 at 59 years of age. His knowledge and ability to teach and make Jiu Jitsu fun and safe is why I would recommend anyone thinking about BJJ to walk through the door and give it a try. Not only is it incredibly interesting and complex its also a great workout! Don't be the old guy (or young guy) saying I wish I had tried Jiu Jitsu or have always wanted to try it. Do yourself a favor and meet Pedro you will be glad you did. Hope to see you on the mat!

Pedro Soriano's ability to teach is amazing. My twins have been training with him and his coaches for several years. My youngest has started training as well.
My boys' knowledge of Jiu-jitsu has given them confidence to defend themselves whenever de-escalation is no longer an option.

Martial Arts are always challenging but I couldn't pick a better place where I would rather train than here, not just by how much I'm progressing in my jiujitsu but also on how coming here can make you develop yourself personally outside the gym. Would recommend anyone to come here and see for themselves what a great environment sensei Pedro has created to train and enjoy martial arts.

This place continues to be a great place to train. I have now been with Sensei Pedro for over 5 of the 6 years I have been training. My three kids have now been with him for over 3 years. His school continues to be a clean and friendly home away from home. He treats my kids as his own and ensures a safe, fun, and disciplined environment during the adult and kids classes. Furthermore, his coaching staff provides top-notch instruction.

I started Jiu Jitsu with Sensei Pedro back in 2017 and it was one of the best choices I’ve made in my adult life. After a couple months military orders moved me away, so over the next year I did everything I could to get permanently stationed back in Los Angeles, just to continue training with him. As soon as we moved back I enrolled my two sons. It has been great watching my boys mature through BJJ and it is nice to know they are learning respect, increasing their self esteem, and building confidence. Give this place a try to see it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

When we first heard about Pedro Soriano Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, we didn't know anything about jiu-jitsu or the work that would go into it. Our son had wanted to try something different, so we took him for a trial class and from that moment on, my son was hooked.
Our son has been going for almost 3 years now and we have seen him grow so much during that time. Not only has my son grown as an athlete, but he has also become a stronger person overall. Pedro has created an environment with high expectations, but his relationship with all of his students allows for them to feel comfortable with making a mistake. This is a difficult balance to achieve, but Pedro has mastered it. He is hard on his students when necessary, but also compassionate and understanding.
Over the last 3 years, my son has competed in many tournaments and has slowly moved up the podium from 3rd place all the way to 1st place. This progress is all due to Pedro and his guidance. He is an inspiration to his students and I could not recommend a better gym or program.

This gym has exceeded our expectations. I love the environment the sensei has created for his students. He focuses on hard work, dedication and discipline. The sensei has great leadership, he is able to connect with the students very quickly and easily because he is very intentional about relationships and quickly builds trust.

Started my Jiu Jitsu journey at Pedro Soriano's BJJ a few years ago. Was only there for a few months until life (And COVID) got in the way, so I stopped my training. Fast forward to the start of 2023, and I am at a place in life where I am able to find myself back at Pedro's. Although years had passed, Sensei Soriano remembered me and welcomed me back with open arms. A few other students there remembered me as well and were very welcoming and friendly. You'll see all levels of skill there, but no loudmouth, disrespectful, egotistical students (those are the ones who get humbled quickly). Sensei Soriano is very good at explaining moves and techniques, tailored to your skill level and athletic ability. He starts slow and easy, but makes sure to push you in order to fulfill your potential and personal goals. The instructor Pedro, is a black belt from Brazil. He’s an excellent instructor and does a great job of making the complex simple. He is truly a gifted teacher. The facility is spacious and clean, and everyone is very nice and welcoming. I have no background in martial arts, and I’m blown away by how much I learned in only two months.

This place is absolutely the BEST Sensei Pedro takes his students very serious and my husband and i are so happy we have our 6 year old taking Judo classes with him and Coach Jamil. My son has been there since the end of March and he has grown and learn alot of techniques. He takes the time for each student and you don’t see that anymore. I’m very proud of my son and he looks forward to go to all his classes.
